My Neighborhood Watch #28 - Reporting Events Around Us

Hi Steemians,
It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to participate in this contest today organized by @xkool24 which talks about Reporting Events Around Us. I will be making my entry below so read through it and drop your valuable comment as it will be appreciated.

It's no longer news that we are already in the season of celebration I.e the Christmas season. I'm delighted to make my report today being the D-day of the celebration.

As you all know, there is not much happening around aside from the celebration going on. Before this very day, we have seen people travel from far and near to celebrate with their loved ones. Here we also saw some new people coming in and others also travelled.

In summary during the week, what exactly happened here most was people coming in for the celebration and also people travelling out for the celebration. So we have witnessed that all through the week.

As of yesterday, what was done mostly around this area was to butcher meat. Different families have their capacity on what they want to slaughter for the celebration and a simple sample was the one that we did here on our side. We slaughtered one of the goats we had for the celebration.

Also moving across the community I noticed that a lot of people are also busy killing their mean and even frying their own chinchin. So that has been what has been happening in my area for the past few days of the week.

Today happens to be the main day of the celebration and as it is the custom here in the community people have started cooking and sharing food from family to family, especially with those who are not Christian.

So the celebration I guess will continue after everyone has gone to church and come back. So that is all about the events that is happening around me at the moment. We continue to report more with time.
