Dear diary.

It was Saturday, to me it was just an ordinary day of no speciality, interesting activities to engage. I spent the whole morning and afternoon session at home with my low drainage battery. I tried to get engaged on the engagement challenge but my battery kept warning so I had to quit and sleep.

Around 3 o'clock, I heard my phone ringing and I checked only to realize it's @bossj23 call which I rush to pick. He told me about a gathering to celebrate with a steemians who hit a great milestone on the steemit platform, honestly I was surprised when he said the gathering hold starting the same hour he call.

It was a moment of happiness so I couldn't hesitate to delay instead I raised up from the bed and took a bath, cleaned up my shoes, searched for a proper outfit which I got my branded steemit shirt and blue jean, that was my dress code for the gathering, I began to make my move.

I finally got to reach the gathering venue and wow I saw a lot of virtual steemians in person but as a shy guy I stay hidden and calm, luckily @alli001 was there which i got to sorted with him. Bossj23 and other steemians were there but because I was worried about who the celebrant is, bossj23 said she is yet to arrive so I kept staying calm.

After a moment of chat with alli001, I saw the gate opening and to my greatest surprise it was our able and honourable steemkidss and parents admin @Ngoenyi. I also meet with the able steemians @mesola, @okere-blessing, @benton3 and the likes of @newekemini5 @bessie2023 @fortwis09 and many more.

Unexpectedly, someone I could never believe my eyes would see arrives, it was our honorable and great country representative, @goodybest which i only see on the steemit platform. I got that glimpse Of smiles on my face because meeting and talking with these people in reality was a great happiness for me.

Soon the main event began and bossj23 was the speaker of the house. Introduction was made and the whole present steemians including me got the opportunity to introduce themselves, after that a quiz game was held by bossj23 which he ask about the total Steem power (SP) of goodybest the country representative, the Lucky winner was awarded with 5 liquid steem.

After the whole introduction and the quiz game. The room for encouragement was opportune Which the likes of goodybest, ngoenyi and Benton3 gave us a pill of motivation. Let's rank them and delve to their speeches accordingly.

Ngoenyi.

The steemkidss and parents admin took her opportunity to nurture us on how hard she work to archive everything she got. According to her she used to receive $0.00 on her reward as a newbie but she didn't quit, she had every reason to feel demotivated but that was never an option. she took writing for fun and with hardwork, consistency and contentment, she made it to the top.

She made is understandable the steemit platform and how it works. She encouraged everyone to keep on creating quality post, engage and upvote others too and make friends, a close relationship with other steemians. according to her these are the things that draw support close to us although it is not quarantine.

Goodybest.

Our honorable steemit representative made it clear the important of powering up and how it helps us grow on the platform. According to her speech, she started as a newbie just the same way a lot of us here has started, of course she used to develop some doubt about the platform and sometimes feels demotivated just like us here but the ability to put the net and catches as many dolphins as she can is what make her unique and special.

Specifically she was the main reason for the gathering, the great celebrant of the day. She is currently a 6 times dolphins, a greeter, curator and steem representative on the steemit platform, this woman is a spectacular, a phenomenal woman indeed on this great platform.

Benton3.

The STEEM4NIGERIA admin which is officially know as benton3 was the man who took the speech to the end. He nurtures us on the importance of sending some of our rewards to null and setting the burnsteem25 hash tag on our post. According to him he said that the burnsteem25 hash tag helps controls the supply and demand of the steem blockchain.

The burnsteem25 tag means burning 25 percent of our rewards to help increase the price of STEEM, although it is not quarantined the burnsteem25 tag exposes our post to curators support too. he told us the important of working together and engagement, according to him these things makes us visible on the platform.

Attending and celebrating with our dignity woman, goodybest and other able and successful steemians is something to always remember, the teaching from the great mentors has enhanced, enlightened and added more knowledge to what I've already acquired. A big thanks to them and other active people that matter.

It was time to cut the Cake and a group picture was taken, because bossj23 was the leading speaker, he started by spelling the celebrant name goodybest as g-o-o-d-y-b-e-s-t, the cake was cut by our own representative goodybest. You could've been present to witness the smiles on everyone's faces, it was as if a single mom gave birth to us all.

The cake and buns were shared and drinks were shared too. A lot of pictures were snapped from different colours of phones. I made friends and friends made me too, we talked and we smiled, we exchanged contact both WhatsApp number and Facebook username, the happiness was extremely high to the extent that someone broke a bottle mistakenly. The affection was so touching.

Sad enough the gathering took to an end and some steemians started returning to their different destination but I waited with some steemians, actually I was like spending the whole evening till the next day with everyone but unfortunately that was never possible. While waiting bossj23 took the chance to help a newbie create his achievement 1 verification Post.

Before 9PM we left the hotel and walk home. I had to drop them on the tarred road and we all set apart. My day was boring right from the morning but with the help of our great steemians, my boring day switched to a happy end.
