"Love and Money!"
Hi friends, it is great having you here again for the week. This is my particpation for the contest topic on love and money.
🔻Have you ever been served breakfast, I mean (heartbreak), or do you know anyone who has had a heartbreak? Share with us.
At one point or the other in our lives, we must have been exposed to relationships, and this is a two-sided sword. It either comes back to us in good form or the opposite, hence the name served breakfast. This could be disappointment in relationships or outright quitting of one partner, as the case may be.
I have been served this breakfast lately, and it is not a do-or-die thing as we all have our perspectives on the circumstances around us. When it is all rosy and there is financial abundance, we do not know the people we have around us. It is only difficult times that expose the real and fake people around us.
Just a little financial setback, I was already receiving the heat of my life and battling to sustain what had been built over the years. No little wonder, when we build and think we are naturally connected, not knowing it was our finances that sustained the anticipated natural affection called love, it flops in our face for this oversight.
It all crumbled just as expected since the basis for its existence isn't there as required anymore. It was a hard stage of my life seeing this as a first experience and as well getting to know that we built thinking we are genuinely connected, not nothing it was all about gains and profits.
🔻Does genuine love without money exist? Explain
I already had such a mindset, which shows there are also like minds out there. There are many counterfeits in the market that do not remove the fact that there is an original. There are genuine people out there who believe money is secondary so far we are working hard to uphold what we confess as love.
In as much we want to believe this assertion, we also do not need to be lazy about spicing up our relationship feeling that after all, she is understanding and guinenely for love and not for money.
🔻If you were allowed to choose between money and love, which would you prefer? State your reasons
I would want to bring in economic hardships into my relationships. Love is expected to give us all the warm feelings and stability we need. We may hin ave to separate hardship demands and love demands.
I would choose love at any time. I am a the type who would want to take all my time to build what I want other than jumping boats recklessly. Though, there may be difficulty having like minds in the same space. But I bet you, it is worth doing to choose love over money.
Building on money does not stand the taste of time. We are not in charge of the universe and hence can not determine what happens to us and our finances. Building relationships distances us from gaining self-respect, confidence, and mutual authority with one another. The beneficiary remains subdued, whereas the provider is always in charge.
Building on love is the right thing to do as every other thing follows and queues behind it. It attracts every good thing we desire and more than we anticipated.
🔻It is true that money answers to all things, in your understanding, can money answer to love?
Money is usually a facilitator to most things we do, but there are moments when it loses its value to control and wields influence in what we do. We can not remove the fact that it helps to solve most of our financial demands while in a relationship.
Have we heard that some partners still complain that despite all the money he or she provides for them, they still don't feel satisfied or happy with the relationship? There is a limit to everything, and this applies to money as well.
One may not continue to be subjected to abuse only because his or her monetary demands are catered for when needed. They tend to quit over time because of this.
Money may answer to all things but the question here is that, for how long does it continue to answer? People tend to leave abusive relationships because of their money foundation.
