Dear Diary,

Friday was an amazing and eventful day as I wrote my PHY221 Thermal Physics course exam at the Permsite campus of the prestigious University of Uyo located at the South south region of the nation. The sure anticipation and crazy nervousness were so palpable as I entered the Agric lecture theatre, which served as the exam venue for the very course and a capacity of about 600 sits. The very faculty of Agriculture housed this spacious and well-equipped hall for learning, event and etc.

The exam as expected from most students was known to be a challenging one, giving us six questions to answer a total of four. However, I was so very well-prepared for the task ahead and expectations. From Months of studying, attending lectures, and practicing problem-solving had really led me to this moment. I put my trust in God and hoped for a good grade as the result showcase.

As I then sat down with my pen in hand according to arrangements by the so much invigilators, ready to Smart and tackle the questions, I felt a mix of excitement and determination too. The first question did tested my understanding of the fundamental concepts of thermal physics. I carefully explained the different modes of heat transfer and their applications accordingly, drawing upon real-life examples to support my arguments and aim, I did calculations too as all questions came with a sub-questions of not less than five.

Moving on to the second question I prefer answering, I so analyzed the laws of thermodynamics and their implications in practical scenarios as I understand them, the first, second third and zeroth laws. It was a challenging task, but I approached it with a clear mind and structured approach and make sure all were to determine standard. I also derived equations, provided detailed explanations, and even included relevant diagrams to enhance my answers appropriately.

The following questions drive into the topics such as the heat engines, enthalpy, Gibbs free energy and entropy, though phase transitions wasn't included in exams buy was taught and I did read it expecting in exam. Each question required a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter very well, as well as the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations so as not to compromise things. I tackled them with confidence, drawing upon my extensive revision in school and problem-solving practice.

Upon completing the exam after my answer sheet was collected by the invigilator though I didn't finish and summit by myself, a sense of relief washed over me as I was confidence in what I answered and praying for God's divine favor and grace so that the outcome will be worth my time and stressed, I did felt satisfied with my performance, knowing that I had given it my all. However, the day was far from over. As student who had missed Dr. Atat's test a few weeks ago, I had to write a make-up Continuous Assessment (CA) test of wish I was among and did thank the Doctor for such a kind and fathering mindset. The test was taken back and conducted at the faculty of science, where the department of physics was located. It was quite a trek from the Agric lecture theatre, but I managed to make it on time and meet others.

The weather mirrored my mixed emotions as it was disturbing. The sky was cloudy, and raindrops fell sporadically, adding to the already stressful atmosphere for us. Nevertheless, I remained focused and determined. The CA test covered various topics here, including the ones I had missed earlier. Despite the added pressure, I did stayed calm and composed, relying on my knowledge and problem-solving skills to navigate through the questions and giving a perfect responds, it was only three questions to answer all.

As the pretty day came to a close, I couldn't help alone but reflect on the importance of good preparation for exams on time. Here are my few tips that's really helped me during this challenging period:

1. Start Early: Beginning your preparations well in advance, allowing ample time to cover all the topics thoroughly and appropriately.

2. Organize Your Notes: Try Keep your study materials well-organized and segmented, making it easier to revise and locate specific information when needed at ease.

3. Practice Regularly: Solving practice problems much time and engage in mock exams if organized to familiarize yourself with the exam format and improve your problem-solving abilities and strength.

4. Do Seek Clarification: As a student If you encounter any difficulties or have doubts, please don't hesitate to seek help from your professors or classmates who knows it. Understanding the subject matter is crucial for success not only in exams.

5. Take Care of Yourself: Do Remember to take breaks, getting sufficient rest, and maintain a healthy lifestyle as well. Self-care plays a vital role in maintaining focus and concentration during the exam period and etc.

In Conclusion, friday's exams already were both challenging and rewarding at some point. I did put in my very best effort, and with God's grace, I am really hopeful for a good grade at end to really show and impressed my efforts and it's worth known to payoff. Now I'll say it's time to relax and then recharge, knowing that I have given my all, hoping you enjoy this article and maybe find something helpful as no knowledge is lost.

I am now inviting on @goodybest, @bossj23, @benton3, @bela90, @vdeme123, @usoro01 and @uduak3287 to really please review my diary as I share my day we'll spend as a student, and I know very well that most I mentioned are students encountering same challenge.

There is no greater feeling than walking into an examination room and knowing that you have studied and know your work. All that is left to do is trust yourself and, as you've said, leave it in God's hands.
There is nothing you can do to change the outcome.

You can be super proud of yourself for giving it your best. 🤛

I hope you are going to share the outcome with us.
