In the Balearic Islands and specifically on the island of Ibiza, winter is usually warm, it is rare the day that we have to wear a coat and scarf, and now with the climate change the temperature these days is practically spring-like.

For this reason, the only feeling of being in winter, as it is understood in continental Europe, is the beginning of Christmas, and the most characteristic thing about it is the Christmas markets. In our small island universe, the most popular is the one held in the center of the island's capital, although there are also much more peculiar ones that take place on a farm in the countryside, these are also a great way for friends to get together at this time of year and celebrate the festivities over good food and wine.

En las Islas Baleares y en concreto en la isla de Ibiza, el invierno suele ser cálido, es raro el día que tenemos que usar abrigo y bufanda, y ahora con el cambio climático la temperatura estos días es prácticamente primaveral.

Por esta razón, la única sensación de estar en invierno, como se entiende en la europa continental, es el comienzo de la navidad y de ella, lo más característico son los mercados navideños. En nuestro pequeño universo insular, el más popular es el que se hace en el centro de la capital de isla, aunque también se montan otros mucho más peculiares, que tienen lugar en alguna granja en el campo, y que por su estilo también sirven para que se reúnan los amigos en estas fechas y celebren la fiesta alrededor de unas buenas viandas y un buen vino.
