Greetings to all, for this day I share this beautiful flower, in this photographic documentation, since it is the only accepted species belonging to the monotypic genus Nerium, of the Apocynaceae family. The important thing to share this type of content, since I am from Venezuela, Zulia state in the Maracaibo municipality, for today we have a temperature record of 41 degrees of heat for this season, but it is evidence how this plant endured this temperature, Inflorescences, with pale terminal hairs, corymbs, winged and pedunculated, more or less strawberry red, lanceolate and acute lobes, with glandular hairs on the inner face, slightly fused above them. base and pink color. Corolla, rarely white, with multifid corolla of the same color, this is the unique thing about these plants my friends, since the stamens of straight filaments, glabrous, with sagittal anthers, densely pubescent on the back, with a small tooth on the lower part of its ventral face, which is fixed to the base of the stigma.

Another important fact in reference to the gynoecium is that it has a pubescent ovary and no nectar at the base, it is conical, five-sided, attached to the anthers and the stigma covered with a dense gelatinous mass, it is good to know this type of information and more so that we can see it in our homes and gardens of the town, in my case we have this plant in the shed of my work.
