Installing CCTV Camera
Good Day Everyone,
Setting up a CCTV camera at the front door is an excellent way to improve the security of your home or office. Given the rising incidents of break-ins and thefts, having a surveillance system in place can bring peace of mind and discourage potential criminals.
When I recently purchased a new CCTV camera, I realized that the fixing stand of the camera required two bolts for installation. To mount the camera, I decided to hang it on the top iron rod of the gate grill. Using a drill machine, I carefully made two holes in the iron rod. This process took approximately an hour to complete.
Once the camera was securely mounted, I needed to ensure it had a power source. I opted to connect it to the electricity supply from the roof bulb. However, to avoid the camera being turned off when the bulb was switched off, I decided to break the connection between the roof bulb and the camera. Now, the camera operates independently on its own switch.
Attached are some pictures taken during the installation process, showcasing the step-by-step procedure of setting up the CCTV camera.
