How long can the verses hold, until all shatter away,
Like the shores of a grief-laden river, many edges fray.

In our dreams, we often find the destination, it seems,
Yet upon waking, all visions of ours, break like dreams.

We lament that others leave us when sorrow takes its flight,
But even our own grief betrays us, lost in the night.

How far will you seek companionship, walking alone?
In times of hardships, support too may be overthrown.

Superficially, they seem sorrowful, the world around,
Yet for their own gain, all allegiances are unbound.

Oh, contemplate if you'll ever reach your intended place,
Even with the slightest emotion, your aspirations may efface.
