in Steemit Nursery4 years ago (edited)

Hello All,

NOTE: I have created this post earlier but it seems most of us have missed. Creating the same with quite additional content and screenshots. As observed some posts are falling in one common rule which is, Post should be a minimum of 300 words and it was also mentioned by @steemitblog earlier in their couple of post during the Diary Game Season

Season 2 of The Diary Game has ended now but as mentioned in the latest post it will be now be continuing in its new format.

As mentioned earlier, the common mistakes observed in many posts which is Falling short of the minimum 300 words requirement.

Those who are still not aware or gone through the defined rules of The Diary Game can refer to post The Diary Game Season 2 - FINAL RULES and understand the requirement of your post.

Purpose of this Post!

Everyone updating their post on daily basis but as we know all days are not the same day. Sometimes we might fail to express our words, then edit and publish again wherein we are using more RC (Resource Credit) on the same post.

The purpose of this post is the same that everyone makes sure that their post has required words as per defined rule before publishing on the contest, Diary Game, etc....

Below is one of the rules of The Diary Game which observed a common mistake in may posts.

  • Diary Game posts must be a minimum of 300 words - excluding any introduction or conclusion (for example thanks to Steemit, etc) that is not directly part of the diary post.

When we are creating our post we need to make sure that the post has a minimum of 300 words.

Those who are using the Chrome browser, there is an Extension which you can get from the Chrome Web store. The name of the Extension is "Word Counter Extension". You need to add this extension to your Chrome Brower. There are many related extensions you will find but as I am using this one, it is easy to use.

How to use Word Counter Extension:-

Once you added this extension, make sure it is displayed on the Chrome Browser.

Now, you can start creating your post. Once you are done with creating the post or in the middle of time, select all words/content and click on Word Counter Extension. By doing this, it will display you the count of total words in your post.

Those who are not using a Chrome Browser but still wanted to know how many words they have in their post before publishing.

There is a very good web site is available which you can easily access from your browser. The site name is wordcounter.net

In this, you just need to copy-paste your post story and it will give you the count of total words in your story.
