Community Purpose
Steemit Nursery Community is a community where the newcomers of Steemit are supported for the first 2 months of their life on Steemit. They will use this community to get to know other community members through the weekly contest organized by the Steemit Nursery Team. We have the 500 SP Support Program where any Steemit users that have completed at least Achievement 4 may apply for this program and their post will be supported with the Booming Support program until they have reached 500 SP in total earning including SBD conversion. We also supported active newcomers with 30 SP Support program for 2 months so they may interact at Steemit without having resource credit limitation.

Community Team
@cryptokannon is an admin founder for this community and she has appointed steemitblog and steemcurator01 as admins so if anything happens such as she left then they may do what is appropriate.
Currently there are 3 teams that are operating in this community.

30 SP Support Program for Newcomers

We currently reward the work of the team members by putting their personal accounts as 50% beneficiaries on the contest announcement and contests' winners announcement post payout that is being published with @steemitnursery account.
Most of our team members are the Country Representative that wants to work with Steem Greeters Team project and they usually get the reward from their work by publishing their weekly report as Steem Greeters team members and that is including their work in this community. For the non-Country Reps team members, we reward their work on the reports post at Steemit Nursery with @steemcurator03 at a max 10$ worth of upvotes.

Community Curation Account
We currently have @steemitnursery as a support account or community account for giving delegation support 30 SP to active newcomers of Steemit that needed it. https://steemworld.org/@steemitnursery It has 1159 SP of its own and 100 SP delegated to it.
Initially, this account was created to give delegation support of 30 SP, and maybe we will turn it into a community curation account if we receive delegation to this account or we have excess SP left from supporting the 30 SP program.
We plan to use half of the payout reward from the contest organized by the community moderators to grow this account SP.
Currently, we are powering up all the post-payout rewards.
@cryptokannon is the only one who has access to this account.
We have not yet actively doing curation this account as it was initially intended for giving delegation support only to 30 SP support programs.

Plagiarism & Abuse
We have @endingplagiarism team helping us moderate this issue and the team also has been vigilant about this.

Engagement & Commenting
The team has commented on all of the posts that are being picked for support and also all the contests’ entry posts.

Plans & Updates
We are planning to provide the newcomers the support that they need for as long as this community gets support in form of curation support either from steemcurator01, booming team curation support, or delegation from the community members.
We will be using @steemitnursery community account for all the updates on this community.

Promotion
Currently, we are promoting this community at Newcomers Community and our team members have been promoting the community contest on Twitter too.

We hope that Steemit team will put Steemit Nursery community into consideration in receiving this community support program as we currently need the support of booming curation team for running our 500SP program 500SP Minnow Support Program: Curation List - Updated 14/09/2021and the 30 SP program List of Steemit users under 30 SP Support Program and Application open 📢 as the @steemcurator03 community curation account for Steem Greeters project itself is not enough to support all these programs. We welcome any suggestions and feedback for this community to continue its operation.
