The Hateful Eight (2015) Movie Review by @arief12

Quentin Tarantino! This one name can bring smiles on the faces of millions of fans and at the same time bring annoyance on the faces of millions of critics. There are many objections to Tarantino's movie-making style. In his movies, Bakarbakar is extra, the characters leave more dialogue than work. When it works again it becomes extra violent again. Due to the excess of violence, it is not possible to keep an eye on the screen again. One was arguing with him about why Pulp Fiction gets so many ratings. According to him, there is no such story in Pulp Fiction. The characters have no idea where the dialogue is going, where the story is going. After talking for two minutes, I realized that he didn't really understand a single syllable of the movie. It's not Bechara's fault, in fact, Tarantino's movie-making style is so exceptional that many people don't think about his movies.

When it comes to Hateful Eight, in fact, various issues come up for discussion. In a simple thriller, Tarantino plays with various toys. He has dealt with various sensitive parts of the pages of history. After playing a dangerous game with the American Civil War, racism of the time, racism, "Agatha Christie" gave a twist by tightening the story like a fierce detective story. Like a thriller book, holding a pressed cap in your chest all the time, the end of that eternal violence has come. He draws a special red liquid to handle every part of the movie-canvas. Only Tarantino can express this red liquid in such an artistic way. And he has wrapped so many things in a sheet of roughness with his western style.

In the United States, the civil war has just ended. Even after the end of the war, hatred did not abate. A blizzard is slowly approaching the snow-capped region of Wyoming. In such a lonely snow-white wilderness, a wooden statue of Jesus seems to be waiting for its final moment.

In the meantime, two passengers are going in a horse carriage, the destination is Redlock. One of them is Bounty Hunter John Ruth, the other is his captive fugitive murderer Daisy Damargu. Ruth grabs him and hangs him on the gallows, in exchange for a reward. The driver is trying his best to reach the destination after the snowstorm.
But he wants to go with another bounty hunter, Mark Warren, whose destination is Redlock. But when John Ruth disagreed, he used a letter from US President Abraham Lincoln as a trump card. Is it possible to leave the person who is known to the President? John agrees. Meanwhile, another companion is Chris Manix. He claims to be the sheriff of Redlock.
To escape the blizzard, they once came to Mini's inn, but where is Mini? Instead there are four people there, one of whom claims that Mini has gone on a trip elsewhere, now taking care of the inn.
But no one seems to believe, meanwhile they have to spend the night here in the outside world. How do they spend the night?

Tarantino holds the movie in a 60 mm frame. However, the wide angle camera was not used to show the outside scene, most of the movie was inside the same room. And here is the manipulation of the camera. In the same shot, a picture of the whole room has emerged. Everyone in the house was doing what they could.
Where no one is faithful, it is better to keep an eye on everyone.

Although Western Tarantino's favorite people, he made a movie of this genre much later, after the great success of Django Unchained, again this genre movie Hateful Eight. However, this time he did not stick to the previous taste, he gave a different thriller dimension.
As before, the dialogue is full of extreme satire, hinting at some shameless aspects of history in comedy. Another thing that is interesting is the inclusion of intermission in the movie.
I don't remember the last time I saw Intermission in a Hollywood movie, but in this movie, Intermission has been placed in the right place.

Samuel Eck Jackson, Tarantino's favorite actor, is back in his movie. It is impossible to imagine anyone else in his character in the way the man gives all the satirical dialogues with his shining bright eyes.
What a disgust to see him in a Marvel movie, he returned to that dominating role through this movie, and I can't wait to tell you what Bajimat did.
Other actors have done their job well. Kurt remembers Russell's full dialogue, and Walton Guggings's style of speaking in such a dull tone is badd.

However, Jennifer Jason is the only female character to have surpassed so many. In the character of a notorious murderer, he has basically won the hearts with his expressions, along with the sharp dialogue. It can be said that there was a storm of torture on him in the movie. If this woman does not win an Oscar in a supporting role, she will suffer.

The music for the movie was directed by "Good, Bad and Ugly" composer Enio Morrickne, what more can you say? As always, he was mesmerized by his head-scoring original score. He might have been nominated for an Oscar if he hadn't used The Thing's unused score.

At the end of the movie, it seemed like an exaggeration, if I could polish it a little more, it could be a perfect ending.

This is a very convenient movie for Tarantino haters, this movie has a lot of material to criticize. There are references to some stigmatized chapters of history, there is the presence of racism, hatred spread with racism. And in Jennifer's character, they will only find misogyny.
And, in the end, what they have is always unpleasant to them.

But I'll admit to myself that it doesn't fall into Tarantino's best movies at all. The director has exaggerated a bit in some ways, the depth of the story may not be so much, many may question the ending.
Yet I would like to taste again how eight unbelievers spend the night under the same roof and what level of comedy the conversation between them can be.

In conclusion, this three-hour long movie is only for Tarantino fans. It can be said that you will be disappointed and annoyed when you see others. However, if you want to have fun with dark comedy in slow dialogue and hard thriller, you can try it.
