SEC S17W1: "Let's Celebrate the Arts"
We all are familiar with the name Leonardo da Vinci as he was world famous and a legend from the history. This legend's birthday is closer and he was born in Italy, glad to know that Recreative Steem organize the SEC contest in his memory. The world still remember this legend and our next generation will learn about him too!
Let me introduce myself as a lover of art. Once I practice different kinds of art and at that time I understand that art is not easy as it takes patience, practice, passion and god gifted talent too. At the time of ancient artists were highly skilled and their hands of art was absolutely God gifted and their art work still symbolize as the original work of those artists.
Art has many branches and an artist's art gives them lifetime recognition. With the passage of time the branch of art expanded and people started exploring their talents in different branches of art.
For example we can take photography as an art and my interest to it more and today in this blog you can see my photography and art work of other artists that I loved and captured.
Sculpting is an art form that amazes me every time. My photography today is based on clay made sculpture that our local artists were created to sell as showpiece. I often go to the market to heal my eyes with these clay made art work and I take photos of it.
Potters make different shapes of pots with the clay and color it to give it a great look and I consider as a branch of art too. Making pots with the clay is an art and it is also useful for us as we use clay made utensil or crockeries. Calligraphy on clay and creating showpieces is awesome art that I enjoy and appreciate too.
Celebrating art for me is something like dedicating yourself to create awesome and unique art. AI generating art is now a trend in this modern world but the uniqueness of an art and an artist will forever remain immortal in the hearts of art lovers.
A quality art takes time to create and it will be created by human mind and effort and it will also be incomparable. These days it's hard to find a passionate artist because most of the artists are taking this as career or profession more and money is their only focus and maybe that's why they can't be like the legend artists in our history.
Any kind of art need resources, dedication, hard work and a lots of things. A painter needs paint, brush and art paper and other tools or resources and they need money to buy them. Art is now consider as business and service and people showing interest to it to make money only but art is not all about making money, it should be the love and priority of an artist.
In the past resources were limited but artists find it somehow from somewhere and today we have huge resources but we don't have the passion, dedication, talent, skill and efforts for creating art that can heal eyes and can steal hearts too.

As for your post and the mention of pottery, it always looks so easy when they form those pots, but it is not easy at all. I have tried numerous times on a spinner wheel, but I have failed every time.
