Steemit Engagement Challenge S4-W3: Three Goals I Met and Three I Want to Achieve.
Introduction
Hello friends, I welcome you all to my blog, thank you so much for the time to read my blog. A special thanks go to the steemit team for such beautiful opportunity to write and get rewarded, thanks to the recreative steem community for being among the communities to participate in this engagement challenge contest with an exciting topic which is to mention the three Goals I Met and Three I Want to Achieve. So, be relaxed as you read from my blog and I know you will enjoy reading my articles.
Every individual lives with so many plans to achieve which i called "Goal". A responsible person thinks and sets a priority for himself to have achievement for the year or quarter. Individuals with plans sets goals for themselves no matter the circumstances. I want to also believe that, what keeps a man is his handwork and mindset to achieve a particular goal, goals are not achieved by laziness rather it needs your :
Hard work and
Determination.
Question
What are those three goals that you managed to accomplish this year?
Indeed I managed to accomplish these goals I'm going to be mentioning because it seemed as though I wouldn't achieve them but by my hard work, determination, and God's help, I could scale through and I am happy to share on my acomplished gaols.
- Graduation
I could remember vividly that, I was given admission into the university in the year 2017 and the proposed year I was supposed to graduate was 2020 unfortunately, I could not graduate due to the strike and the pandemic (Covid-19). Coming to 2021, one of my goals i set to achieve was to graduate but it was unfortunate for me due to the strike.
Coming to this year 2022, I set a goal, and the first on my list is to be graduated and in God's mercies the Asuu strike was called off and I resumed school in February and graduated on 2nd April 2022. You could see the happiness in me that day in the picture above because I am very happy I could graduate this year.
- NYSC
In my country Nigeria, every graduate is entitled to serve the country for a year which happens to be one of the goals I set to achieve this same year. After my graduation, we waits for mobilization from the board, and fortunate for me, I was among the selected students to serve this year.
Here I am in my uniform, I could tell myself that it looked amazing on me. This has marked one of the great achievements I could achieve this year and I am happy as well.
- Introduction to the Steemit platform
I was posted to serve in Nasarawa state, fortunate enough, I met a friend named Simon Nwigwe. He is a colleague and gradually we became good friends. I have been not ing that he loved being busy with his phone instead of being busy with friends to chart. Until one day, he called my attention and explained in detail what he has been busy using his phone for.
I want to appreciate the fact that, I am now a steemian though I do not plan to achieve this. God does it his way and I am very happy I could be on this platform to share ideas on different topic and to engage with amazing set of people to also learn from them too. A big thanks to @simonnwigwe for introducing me to the platform.
Question
Tell us what was your experience in these 3 achievements. What teachings did he leave you?
It's true that for every success there are always obstacles to failure. My journey this year early has been a hard one but with persistence and determination I could scale through and some of the teachings are;
Talking about my third achievement which is my introduction into the steemit platform has not been easy as a newcomer but it taught me seriousness. Such that if I introduce anyone, I should be able to stress seriousness and persistency as far as steemit plartform is concerned because votes are not guaranteed.
I was taught hard work, if you want to be successful. In my school, you have to be serious to be able to graduate and at some point, I was not reading but following some sets of friends but I realized if I do not read, my goal might not be achievedand thank God I could achieve it by my hard work.
Lastly, I was taught patient. That is, to be patient when vote comes or not, I was patience even when monthly allowance has not reached me but I mept a good hope.
Qestion
What are those three goals you want to achieve? And how do you want to achieve each of them?
- PGDE
One of the goals I want to achieve is my post-graduate diploma in education with the NTI (National Teachers Institute)which by God's grace I will be finishing next year and how I want to achieve this is to first of all finish paying fees, study hard to pass the exams which includes no missing of classes though, this program is a weekend program so, I shouldn't have any excuse not to go for lectures.
- A good job
This is every graduate's prayer and a desire to get a good job to make our living a beautiful one so, it is among my goals to achieve, and how I will achieve it is by dropping applications in different places e.g, companies as a B.sc holder, in universities or colleges and even secondary schools such that anyone I'm called upon, I can go for my choice. In our generation today, no good job follows you to your house unless you stand up to be in search.
- A good husband
Every woman desires to have a good husband, although there can never be a perfect man. This is one of the things I want to achieve this year or next year and with God's help, it shall come to pass.😊
Question
When you feel that you cannot achieve something: what is your motivational message?
The number one thing that an individual need to have in mind as far as goals are been set by that individual is "persistence".
The word persistence has made me gain a lot because of its reward at the end of every struggle. The key to every success is how persistence which encompasses your seriousness.
Another motivational message that always rings into my head is; " Nothing good comes easy in life ". This message has helped me and has been keeping me moving because it has made me know that every journey has a challenge so there is a need to be more serious and keep moving as far as we are still breathing.
In conclusion, life is never easy but it will always be sweet if we work tirelessly for a better future. I am impressed with this contest topic and I want to believe you are impressed as well, thank you so much for reading through my post.
