Assalamu Alaikum friends. Hope you are all well. Today I came to participate in the SEC - S18W4 : Animal Welfare engagement competition organized by this community. So I will share my opinion here.

There are many species of animals in the world. However, animals are treated very badly in the fashion, entertainment and consumer goods industries for the benefit of people. In front of our eyes, a lot of inhuman oppression is done with these animals. But we have no power to protest. For example, the monkeys of the forest are hunted and played in the circus.

It is a very big torture. Although horses are very beautiful animals, they carry many heavy goods. With him, people are entertained as a traditional transport in various popular places. It is very difficult for them. Goods are exchanged with such animals. So people labor with these animals. In my opinion people treat them the worst. It should be abolished as soon as possible.

• Something can be said about the use of animal products in everyday life such as leather, fur and ivory. Chamara is the beauty of every animal. But in some parts of Bangladesh, animal skins are collected and made of various leather items. Especially forest people hunt tigers and deer to trap and sell their skins at high prices.

• People are very greedy. Kill such dumb animals and sell their fur for a small amount of money. Forest animals of the country are disappearing due to these unethical activities. Not allowing them to reproduce on time. A variety of bags, shoes and furniture are being made from animal skins which should not be used. Besides, I heard that blankets are made and sold from sheep's wool. It seems unusual to me.

• Elephant is a huge animal of Bangladesh. This animal is commonly seen in different places in Bangladesh. However, the demand for this animal in the forest area is high. People make thrones, statues, chess pieces out of ivory. But also for people's hobby, they manufacture and export hobby items such as clogs, knives, pen holders, back scrapers etc. Therefore, some elephants do not have tusks.

First of all we have to correct our conscience. We all need to be aware of animals. An application should be made by the government so that a fair law is implemented in the country. All people should refrain from killing animals. Especially those who live in the forest area hunt animals and sell animal skins, fur or elephant teeth. They should be understood well. Animals should take certain protection measures. Care should be taken not to disturb the animals.

I would say that first of all, animal hunting should be stopped in forest areas. Care should be taken to ensure that people cannot sell animal skins or organs illegally. The use of animals as a means of circus or entertainment should be stopped. So all these steps should be taken to protect animals from exploitation.
