(Animal Contest: Tell us about animal transport.)

I am delighted to welcome you all to my blog, and this is my first time of participating in any contest hosting in this wonderful community.

Developed countries like U.S.A, France, Italy, United kingdom e.t.c value animals a lot and they also see them as part of their family members

Is animal transport available in your area?

Animals transportation is very common in Nigeria, animals like horse, donkey and camel are usually used as the mode of transportation in rural area.

Animals transportation can be easily found in Northern part of the country where people used them to carry goods and passengers from one place to another.

Animals transportation is common in the olden days where people ride them to a long distance especially for a special occasion. Farmers also used them to carry farms product from farm to the market place.

Do you think animal transportation is legal or illegal?

Animals transportation is consider legal in my country and their is no law enacted to banned uses of animals as the mode of transportation.

During this economics hardship in Nigeria as a result of removal of subsidy in the petroleum price, people ride horse and donkey to visit a friends and close relative. The reason is that most of them cannot be able to afford transport fees. This show that Nigeria law allows animals transportation in the country.

Do you think the use of animals as transport should be stopped? Why?

We are in modern era, everything needs to be change because the world is growing everyday. Animal need care and we should always treat them right, they are part of our family in most cases they play with us like a old times brother.

Animal transportation should be totally ban because we maltreat and misuse them, we didn't even show them love and attention. Some horse riders can also beat them with stick in order for the horse to be able to run faster, sometimes I pity the horse due to inhumane treatment the horse go through.

Animals transportation should be stopped so that those animals can see that humans value their existence.

Tell about transportation that can be used instead of animals.

We have different means of modern transportation apart from animals transportation which we can use to move from one place to another such as air, road and water transportation.

Once you have fuel you are free to ride on, we cannot ride horse or donkey in the ocean, that's animals transportation have some limitation where they can go.

In addition, air transportation is the fastest means of transportation and it can reach long distance within an hour. So modern means of transportation should be use by humans in order to aid our business activities.
