Computer lesson 8 – PRESENTATION SOFTWARE [POWER POINT]

Hello Kids,

It’s Our Eighth Week on Computer Studies and we are actually Making Progress.

Last Week we had an interesting topic which I belive you all enjoyed, right?

And I was glad to See how some of you turn up for your Home Work, though Much Student's didn't do it, I wouldn't know why.

But I believe you will all do your home work for this Week.

Few the few Students who did the home Work for last week, and I have read them all. And I have already rewarded 2 steem and the other with one steem based on their Performance. @madilyn02 received 2 steem while @ikramullah430 received 1 steem.

So what do we have today? We would give attention to Presentation Softwares, Remember we handled Microfoft words last week.

PRESENTATION SOFTWARE

These are Software or programs used in making animated presentations.

These presentations are used by various professionals for example teachers, engineers, doctors, and marketers among others to effectively pass instructive or corrective information to others.

There are many presentation software in use, but the most popular in parts of the world is Microsoft Office PowerPoint.

In this lesson, we are going to look at the basic features of Microsoft PowerPoint.

Microsoft Office PowerPoint Introduction

Microsoft Office PowerPoint is an Application software used to create and edit professional presentations.

It is one of the software that makes up the Microsoft Office package along with Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Office Excel among others.

Instead of pages as is found in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint makes use of slides.

This Slide can easily be played and its speed could be adjusted as well to the Comfort of the User.

These slides can be edited, loaded with content, and animated to create eye-catching presentations.

Just like other applications on the Office package, Microsoft Office PowerPoint contains exciting features. It has Tabs with drop menus that help the user work.

There is the Home tab that helps the user with tools for font formatting, paragraph formatting, inserting new slides,s and setting slide layout.

The Insert tab contains tools for bringing smart arts, pictures, tables, videos, audio, etc. into the presentation. The user can also insert new slides using the Insert tab.

The Design tab has tools for changing the theme, slide size, and background formatting.

The Transition and Animation Tabs help the designer add and edit animations to the different slides and their contents as well as set the timing of such animations.

Meanwhile, the Slideshow tab enables the user to put the presentation on a slideshow.

Those are some of the unique features of Microsoft PowerPoint.
