WEEK #1 STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 2021||SEE WHAT HAS CHANGED IN THE LAST 7 DAYS IN CASE YOU MISSED THEM

INTRODUCTION

It is our delight to announce our weekly report of the activities that took place within steemkids community. As a community, our purpose has always been to welcome kids from all around the world irrespective of their background status and culture and then mentor, assist and support them.

We have been making sure that publications in the community must be such that will help these kids learn how to build a better future for themselves. We verify them, mentor them and as well provide enabling environment for them to interact with their fellow kids in the community.

We keep leading by example as we keep encouraging these young one to save for the future through powerups and they are really learning.

We also have been instructing them to learn how to join Steemitcryptoacademy and we are glad that some of them are trying it out. And the results are amazing. Thanks to our steemkids community cryptoacademy professor, @benton3.

We understand that we may not be perfect and as such, we keep improving in what we do by looking out for projects that will favour these kids. We will keep improving even in the coming weeks and months. Below are some of the new things that took place within the last 7 days.

S-KIDS CONNER

This is a project that was started 4 weeks ago where the kids interact with each other on a daily basis and they are rewArded for it. Check it out below in case you missed it

CLUB5050, CLUB75 AND CLUB100

As a community, we have always supported any update from the steemit team. This initiative of making sure that one's total transfers out of the wallet does not exceed total powered up has been supported by the community. We have encouraged the kids and every other member to join this initiative. Though powerup is not new to us as we run power up contest weekly. But we have added this initiative to our powerup contest to make everyone join. Also, we have adopted the monthly club5050 calculation to help us support spud4steem promotion. So this past 1st of November, we hosted a powerup contest using the tag: #save4spud to encourage monthly powerups and this help our members remain in club5050. See the post below

STEEMKIDSS COMMUNITY OFFICIAL ACCOUNT AND #CLUB5050 STATUS CALCULATION, WHAT ABOUT YOURS?

It was a contest and the result has been announced where the kids also took part and were rewarded. On the whole, a total of 1413 steem was powered up. Here is the winners result

QUALITY POSTS SELECTION

With the advent of club5050, club75 and club100, the quality posts selection now is based on those who have joined the club. So we screen out those haven't and make sure we first support those in the club. We didn't just start doin that but also made the announcement for all members to see. See below

OUR WEEKLY WORD DEFINITION CONTEST SERIES

This week, we chose a word that can motivate everyone to keep moving and making improvements no matter the challenges. Some tent to be discharged due to lack of support. But with this contest which was selected to encourage all with the topic: "UNTIRING CONSISTENCY", we believe that most will not relent but will continue to make efforts that will help them join the club and be supported.

We have other contests running in the community which has proved to be helpful in retaining active users in the community. You can go to the community and check them out.

OUR CURATION TRAIL

We as a community has been building the community curation trail to the post that as it stands, it has become the second most popular trail, and with the initiative of the powerups, the voting value has increased tremendously that we can , at 100% add $2+ to a publication. We can thank the steemit blog enough for initiating this wonderful club. Now everyone is building their steempowers which also helps us to support the users. Hardly in our community will any quantity post pay out without a vote. This is a wonderful achievement. We therefore urge all who has not joined our curation trail to do so here

OUR WEEKEND CONTEST IS BACK WHICH IS ENTITLED: FUNNY, ANNOYING AND EXCITING WEEKENDS WITH KIDS

With the advent of monthly powerups as a result of the club5050, our Sunday powerup contest has been stopped and then replaced with our weekend contest. This contest was there a long time ago but was Temporarily stopped to accommodate our savebypowerup Sunday contest. But we are glad to recall it and this weekend, it was announced. See below

NOVEMBER SUPPORT FOR STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY

We are were selected as one of those communities who retains the tier 1 booming support. We are happy to remain instead of going out entirely. But we aspire to get more supports as we will keep working hard. This will help us to keep supporting the kids in our care. So daily, we choose 5 quality posts to submit to booming while other quality posts are supported with our community curation trail.

CONCLUSION

We are grateful to the steemit team, @steemitblog for their untiring supports they have been given to us and to the kids. We will keep improving to ensure we meet up with all that are required for communities. We will keep building the community account via powerups and other means available to us.
