SUMMARY OF SEPTEMBER REPORT||WEEKLY REPORT/UPDATE #5 FOR STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY FOR WEEK #1 (1-7) OCTOBER, 2021

Dear @steemitblog and @steemcurator01 including the entire kids and the whole family of steemians, it is our delight to present the summary of our September, 2021 report and thus start the weekly report for the month of October,2021 that is just one week ago. Please, read on and see how far we went that month and what we have also accomplished this first week of October.

SUMMARY OF SEPTEMBER REPORT

During the month of September, 2021, we were very excited to learn that we will be receiving supports from steemcurator01. It was an exciting goodnews to us and it was not just news but a reality. We really received the needed support we had looked for ver since the creation of this wonderful community. It was the most wonderful thing that happened to us that month.

However, we didn't just use the opportunity, we made wise use of the opportunity to grow our active users and steempower. We also added value to the community through our various projects.

For the 4th week,

Our community purpose remained the same which is to touch the lives of kids all over the world in positive ways. This we did through Recruitment, teaching and reward of these kids. We were all assisted to do so especially the recruitment and teaching by the kids lovers who produce wonderful teaching materials for these kids. It was an exciting week for us.

We also grew out steem power as usual by participating in #savebypowerup competition which we hold every Sunday wherein we powered up 1700 steem to build our steempower. Others joined in the competition because 3000+ steem was powered up in the last competition before the month of October.

We continued with the selection of quality posts for the day which was supported by the curator01 according to his generosity.

Our holiday lessons and projects continued to teach the kids valuable lessons through the teachings from our teachers. We didn't stop there but to announce the recruitment of additional teachers who will use modern technology/videos to teach our kids since understand that this kids will learn faster with these technology.

Before the end of October, we received the news that we are no longer going to receive support from curator01 for the month of October. We had missed feelings but we are also glad that we are among the tier one lost who will receive booming support and submit 5 posts to booming for support. Well, not bad at all.

WEEK #1 STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, 2021

BOOMING SUPPORT

We as a community are now receiving supports from booming. We are glad that we are recovering this supports consistently. We are in the tier 1 list and this means that we will submit 5 quality posts for each day. But it has rules which we are following strictly.

OUR CURATION ACCOUNT AND STEEMPOWER

• Our curation account still remains @steemkidss

• Our steempower is 18,337.27 SP out of which 9,270.41 belongs to us and 9,066.86 delegated to us by our kids lovers.

POWER UPS

We have been growing out steempower through our consistent power up promotion which we do every Sunday. This week was not an exception. We participated in the #savebypowerup organized by the community. So, we don't just encourage others to join but we also take the lead. Like this past Sunday, we powered up 1600 steem which brought us up to the total steempower we have now as shown above. Check the post link below

A total of 2,959.695 steem was locked up in the power up contest in the just concluded #savebypowerup contest.

PLAGIARISM MODS INTRODUCED

Previously, all mods are responsible for checking plagiarized contents. It has recorded successes over the months. However, with the curator01 support last month, we received a whole lot of users and publications. We thought it wise to have 3 separate people who will help us check for plagiarism, comment on their findings before the publication can be supported by the community. We throw the offer to all and we finally got these 3

They have been doing great work on that aspect. They give 1st warning, 2nd warning and 3rd warning to the offenders and after which the person is muted. See evidence of their work in the screenshot below of someone they gave 1st warning

We have zero tolerance of plagiarized contents and we can go extra miles to ensure that the community is free from this urgly threat. We are hopeful that these ones will discharge their duties as required.

WE HAVE APPROVED THE APPLICATION OF 4 MORE TEACHERS FOR VIDEO LESSONS

We had, towards the end of September, announced that we will be needing more teachers who will use videos to teach our kids various subjects. We received applications and within this week, we reviewed and approved 4 of them in addition to a music teacher. These ones have produced there lessons for the first week. OUR RECRUITMENT CONTEST CONTINUES

We want to gather more kids to the community, not just the ones within but the ones outside. We want to recruit them and let them join us. That is why we continued our Recruitment contest which is solely sponsored by @ngoenyi, our admin and founder, this is now the season 3 of it. We using the tag #catchthmyoung. See the link below

Through these means and others, we have been increasing the number of our verified kids. 8 new kids joined us. Bringing the total number to 50. We just hope that these kids will remain active.

We will surely keep thrilling them with our various projects. And soon, we are going to start something new that will help keep them active.

OUR PLANS FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK

• We will launch a project for the kids which will assist them to be active. It will be called S-kids corner. It is going to be an interactive section where the kids can interact with their fellow kids by dropping the posts they made within the week and making comments. The most active kids for the week will be rewarded. What out for the announcement post.
