It's a pleasure on my path to share with you all my entries in this week's contest which is titled "Effective Communication is the ability to strengthen family bonding" which was organized by @uzma4882. It is an interesting contest and I would love to drop my entry ASAP.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @suboohi, @ruthjoe, and @malikusman1 to join this contest in this community today and share their participation as well, I do hope to see and read your entries as well.

Communication is the ability to relate with one another through verbal talks, actions or even written words. What matters here is that the parties involve are able to express theirselves so much that they all understand each other.

Now having define what communication is all about let's us then relate it to the topic of the day which says effective communication is the ability to strengthen family bonding. You will agree with me that once you loss communication with anyone the bond banding you together will disappear.

If for instance you have a high school friend whom you are very close to each other while in school and when you both depart you stop communicating with each other as usual, the bond will gradually fade away and it will get to an extent when you can really say anything about the person because you have lost communication or there has been no effective communication.

This is the case of our various families as well. If we stop having regular communication with them either physically, audio and otherwise at some point we will lose the bond which kept us together. In my case for instance, I haven't been with my parents for a while but I try to ensure that no day passes by without calling and talking to them. Sometimes I go as far as making video calls to see their faces.

In a nutshell, to strengthen our family bonding what we need is not money or any other thing what is most important is the communication that happens within the family. Every family must always carve out time in the tight schedule to have a discussion with each other and in that way, you will notice that the bond within the family will grow even the more.

Families where there are children growing up always needs to be given attention especially in this present generation where things are turning upside down. When you have children, parents are supposed to always discuss with their children so that they can know the worries of their children and then advice and look for ways to solve their problems.

When you do this atleast every week you can be able to know what exactly is bothering your children and the family at large. You can be able to solve the issues that are supposed to break the family.

With effective communication in a family you can confidently say where and when things will happen in the family because you are fully aware of the ongoing activities within the family.

Effective communication also makes you to know your children better as a parent and as children you will also know your parents better as they will always share their joys, worries and sorrows with you all as you discuss and this is how we know what our families are passing through at any point and time and we also do our best to help in any little way we can.
