Hello kids and parents, I am participating in this Writing expedition contest by our dear community this contest has made our search for content so easy. Today I will be telling a popular story that I was told when I was small by my grandparents. I know you will enjoy this educating story of mine. Let me explain the meaning of Disobedient.

Disobedient means doing things that you were asked not to do ,That's ignoring or not keeping to instructions.

Once upon a time there was a farmer, he likes going to farmer with his wife and only son. Whenever they go to farm the son will leave farming and be chasing grasshopper and birds. This made the farmer and the wife so worried about getting a bird for thier son since he likes them. As they continued their farming they did not forget the fact that they needed a bird for thier son. So one day, The farmer and the wife went to farm alone without thier son as the approach the farm they saw a bird singing very close to where they can catch, they were very happy as they caught the bird for thier son. When they got home they showed it to thier son and he was very excited . The famer and the wife made a cage for the bird every day the bird will be singing lovely songs for them,This bird at home made the son not to be following his patents to the farm again. Whenever the parents of this boy goes to farm other children will gather and be disturbing the boy to bring the bird out. As the days goes by it touched the farmer that thier son may mistakenly let the bird go so they gave the son a very big portion of palm kernel to crack as this will keep the boy busy till they will come back from the farm. Immediately the parents left ro farm the boy's friends gathered and told the boy to bring the bird out but the boy refused and told his friends that the parents warned him not to bring the bird out for that day untill he finishes the palm kernel. The friends told him that they will help him to finish cracking the kernel so fast,the friends all teamed up and finished the heap of palm kernel in a twinkle of an eye.

The boy then went in and brought the bird out they Bird did not sing well it asked the children to take him to the highest tree . The children climbed the tree and left the bird to sing there and the bird started singing and shouting from the tree the next thing they saw the bird flew away. All the boy's friend hurriedly left him. The boy was crying but remembered a trick to replace the bird before the patents will come back he carried thier small duckling and painted it the bird colour and placed it back in the cage. When the parents returned they went to the bird to sing and the bird was singing another thing not the normal thing it sings,they asked thier son and he told them what happened and the farmer used his machete and cut off one of his sons ear . As the boy was crying outside looking for the lost Bird God helped him and the bird came back. He was happy and the father fixed his ear back with cocoyam. Now Check your two ears the softer one is the cocoyam that's what makes one of our ear to be soft hahahaha.

Lesson.

Obedience is better than sacrifice

Is always good to obey our parents instructions.
