SEC14 WK:#6: "Welcome!"
INTRODUCTION
Hello my fellow steemians it good to be home once again, happy new year to you all, I pray This year will favour everyone of you.
I am so happy, saying someone welcome is a act to greet they arrival of some one, it can be a guest etc.
This is a very wonderful challenge, because this is another new year. I will share with you all what I know about WELCOME.
WHAT DOES 'WELCOME' MEAN TO YOU AND WHAT DO YOU USE IT FOR? MENTION 3 INSTANCES
As I said earlier welcome is the act of greeting they arrivel of a person, it can be a guest or anyone. If someone tell me welcome it makes me feel at home and feel free. Welcome is a good and wonderful thing to say to people.
We can use welcome in so many ways which I will list them out here
How we can use welcome
we can use WELCOME to *welcome someone into a team, it can be (football or basketball etc)
we can say this to someone ( we are delighted to have you with us)
we can say welcome to someone using a letter, example ( sending you a beautiful welcome from me and my family)
we can say welcome to someone who join they group or something new like ( thank you so much for joining us)
Saying thank you is very important because it will make one so happy and comfortable.
HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN THIS WORD IS USED FOR YOU AND HOW DO YOU ALSO THINK THE PERSON YOU USE IT FOR FEELS ABOUT IT.
This word is very important, this word is usually use in appreciating someone who comes from far distance. For example if I went to work and I came back tired and hungry to my family and no body cares to tell me welcome, that will really hurt me and I won't be happy. If I came back and everyone at home tells me welcome that will make me feel better and happy.
For me if I tell anyone welcome, deep inside me
I know that person feel so happy.
Like yesterday when I was back from church, after some minutes my mom Choir director came back too, so I told her welcome, that simple words made her so happy.
WHY SHOULD YOU USE THIS WORD MORE OFTEN AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO TEACH OUR KIDS TO USE IT
Using this word often is very good because it will draw one close to each other, it is very important to teach our children important life lessons, it will improve their growth and success in life. We can teach our children honesty, time management, or even responsibility, with this it will help them use that words often in any place and any time.
AS YOU WELCOME 2024, WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS AND HOW DO YOU INTEND TO ACHIEVE THEM?
Firstly I really thank God for giving me the opportunity to see 2024, some people died on the way but God kept me to see this year, I am so grateful.
I have so many expectations for 2024, I don't want to live the same life I was in 2023.
My expectations are
Long live and prosperity
I want to achieve good things that my dad didn't achieve.
I want to get admission into the university.
I want to have my own money, so that I will assist my mom.
Open doors everywhere
Destiny helpers will locate my family.

This are all what I wish to achieve this year, I will try my possible best to work on it so that it will come to reality.

We know that welcome is very important in our life and the main reason for this is when we go from one place to another our people welcome us or we have a guest. etc. so we call them Khushamdid. Happy has become a part of our life. When new year comes, we make New Year's greeting. It is called Khushmadid. We welcome the new year. Your post is great and I hope. I hope you will get success.

@newekemini5 telling someone welcome makes them feel at home and give them a sense of belonging, you can express that through giving that person a hug depending on your relationship with him/her, through putting up a smiling face, through a hand shake or even parting on the back depending on who is involve.
