My actions to make our environment cleaner, greener and healthier 🌲🌲🌲🌴🌴🌴

What did you do? |

We launched a tree-planting program at our school in which both teachers and pupils participate together. Each team which was comprised of three to five students was tasked with planting five trees. Together we dug holes planted the young trees and gave them regular watering.
We got to learn about nature and contribute to creating a greener healthier school environment which made it enjoyable. In addition it was satisfying to know that we were benefiting the environment.

I made the decision to plant trees together with my pupils as a teacher. After getting together we decided where we would like to put the trees. After that we carefully dug holes and planted the young trees in them. To ensure the trees had enough water to grow strong and healthy each student took turns watering them.
Everyone felt proud to be contributing to environmental conservation in our own playground and it was a team effort. It was also a fantastic tool for us to connect and share knowledge outside of the classroom.
