Hello friends I am here again to participate in this beautiful community, the kids and parents community is the place to be because they keep coming up with good educational topic that will benefit our children life's and that of us the parents.
Friends we are in engagement challenge season 11 week 4 and this time around the topic is on freedom for both parents and child. So friends before I proceed let me invite my friends to join us. @ m-fdo, @ ruthjoe and @ngoenyi
What do you understand to be freedom as a parents or kid?
To my own understanding as a parents, we will protect you, but not to force you. This particular contest question comes with different answers. But it depends on the age, your profession and the type of person you are ( single or married).
Freedom of a child means, they can play at any place with any person, do what ever they want to do. So this diffinition is for a growing that doesn't know anything. Then freedom for the parents, that means you can do what ever you wises to do without anyone questioning you, you can decide to travel to any place without taking permission from anyone.
What can make you to grant more freedom to your kids or what can you do to earn more freedom?
. * To me what can make me grant my children freedom is when I noticed that you can express yourself very well, when you have that self confidence in you that you can do it on your own.
Another thing is that when I know the group of friends you are working are of good, I will grant you immediate freedom because I Know that you won't get into bad company.
Another thing that can make me grant my children freedom is when I know that you take corrections anytime you know that you are wrong, because there are alot of children that can not identify whether is right or wrong.
Advantages and disadvantages of freedom both to parents and kids
I believe as parents, we want to try our best to make we do what is best for our children, Because all what we want for them is a happy life. So if we want this dream to manifest is for us to control our kids every move

| One of the advantages of giving our children freedom is that it build up their creativity skills. It will make them know what is good for them. | But when they don't have that freedom as a child, they won't be able to create anything for themselves, even in choice making, they want everything should be done for them. |
| Another advantage of giving your child freedom is because it will help them become independent and self-confident. When ever children know that they have the chance to do things or have decisions of his own, they will feel accomplished. this will help boost their confidence and they will be able to speak out in the public. | Mean while the disadvantage is that when that freedom is not giving to them, they are always shy in the public, they lack that self confidence. |
| If children have freedom, it helps them develop a sense of responsibility, this means that they will be able to take decision of their own. | The disadvantage is that they can't take decision of their own, they can't get into trouble that will ruin their lives. |
What can cause one to lose the freedom he or she has?
Alot of things can cause one to lose his freedom, as a child when you continue to do the things that your parents has warn you not to do, automatically the freedom is been taking away from you.
Why is freedom necessary?
freedom is very necessary because it makes you to know that you have right to your self, having that freedom gives you sense of belonging, you can decide to rest today without anyone questioning you. So freedom is very important to our mental health.
