Greetings to the entire community. It is a pleasure for me to participate here once again. Today I'll like to participate in the computer lesson assignment.
It's interesting to know that the teacher has asked to summarize all the computer lessons from week 1 till date.

Week 1: Introduction To Computer

For week one, computer was introduced to us. We learnt the definition, parts and uses of a computer.

A computer is an electronic device that accepts data, processes it and gives back information.

Uses of a computer

A computer can be used for the following purposes:

• Financial purposes
• Educational purposes
• For storing details
• For keeping track of information or past events

Some parts of a computer include:

• The monitor
• The keyboard
• The CPU(central processing unit)
• The mouse

Week 2: Types of computer

For week two,we were able to learn about the different types of Computer that we have.

Types of computer

There are different types of.computer today. These Computers come with different sizes, and shapes. The cellphone is also a type of computer.

The different types of Computer includes the following:

• Personal/ Laptop computer
• Desktop computer
• Tablet or ipad computer
• Etc.

Week 3: Input devices

Fir week 3 we learnt what are input devices and examples of some input devices in a computer.

Input devices

Input devices are those that are used to transfer data to the computer for storage and processing.
These devices can also be used to give instructions and commands to the computer in form of a program.

Examples of input devices are:

• Mouse
• Keyboard
• Scanners
• Webcams
• Joystick
• Light pen
• etc.

Task two: If you have made use of any of them, please write how your first experience was.

Week 4: Computer operation

This week 4, we were able to learn the meaning of computer operation, types of Computer operation.

Computer operation

This is the act or process of giving instructions to the computer and expecting it to execute the instructions and give back result.

Types of computer operation

The types of Computer operation are the following:

• Inputting
• Outputting
• Storing
• Processing
• Controlling
