It's great to be able to participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W1, My dreams in childhood contest. I am very grateful to this community for providing us with a platform to express what kind of dreams we had as children and I am very happy to be able to read some of the other dreams that they put into this contest.

I feel nostalgic again when I wrote down some of my dreams at that time, even I smiled a little and really enjoyed every moment. This contest makes everyone remember that childhood dreams are the beginning of the journey to success.
Here are some of my writings about this contest, hopefully it can be useful;

What were the dreams you had in childhood for the future.

Everyone has dreams as a child, where childhood dreams are the motivation for ourselves to move towards our goals. We never know how and what challenges we will face, we only dream and hope that when we grow up we will reach them. Lots of pictures and dreams are written and drawn when we see something, or someone touches our heart, our eyes sparkle and feel happy when we wake up in the morning and we start to get excited and start our trail right then and there.

I am someone who likes to dream and has a strong determination to achieve my dreams. We have to live to dare to dream and through that dream we start to live and writing dreams is writing the purpose of life. A dream will be achieved when effort, hard work and belief are embedded in the heart. Nothing is impossible, there is even a saying that says, 'Dream as high as the sky', like the sky that has no limits, that's how we must dream and strive to make it come true.

As a child I really like to play and adventure with my big friends and I really like something new and full of challenges. I dream to travel the world with my partner and try all the food menus that exist in various parts of the world, especially the traditional food, and I also dream of becoming a lecturer. In my opinion, being a lecturer is one way for me to use my knowledge and be able to share knowledge with students who will listen to the lesson until it's finished and go to the library together and study under a tree while enjoying nature.

Until the 2nd grade of high school, I had a dream to visit a country, namely Japan and study there. I and my close friend Mutiana, her name, together went to the library and looked for a Japanese dictionary and borrowed it. Only the two of us wanted to go there, so we were determined to write one word in the dictionary a day and memorize it with each other. At that time we carried Japanese dictionaries everywhere we went so our friends were surprised. They didn't laugh at us, they even helped us to hear our memorization. Until when we were in different dormitories, we couldn't meet and I just lost my dream. There are some vocabularies that we memorized, even from then on and until now I still have a motto of living in Japanese something like this, Ekitsu ni nate moma nabu koto wa aru monda, which means *** It's never too late to learn***.

I have not been able to realize my dream, but I am still very grateful and happy because I can still study and even get a bachelor's degree in English, and I can still get a scholarship for 3 years. I'm sure every dream will be beautiful in its time, maybe this moment is the best for me.

Who supported you in that dreams?

My parents are people who always support me in education, they are the frontline in all my achievements in this life. Even when I felt lost in my dream to study in Japan, and was not excited, Mother was a person who never gave up and always wanted to make me happy. He found me a university that matched my abilities and registered it, so I just took the test and entered to study, even though it was the last stage. My mother knows that my dream of becoming a lecturer can be achieved here, and learning English better will pave the way for me to study in Japan.

Which one of those dreams have you achieved?

Although I haven't traveled the world yet, but I have realized my little dream to travel around Aceh with my husband and it took us 5 days, and I still dream that one day I will be able to travel the world. Even though I am not a lecturer, I have been a teacher in several places of education from Kindergarten to High School.

I started to quit when I decided to get married, but I have never regretted my current decision, because I am very happy to be a housewife who takes care of my cheerful children and accompany them to grow up, and my dream is now also seeing my children are growing up well with strong hearts, and maybe when the time comes I will try to achieve my goals with additional support from my husband and children in the future.

Which one did you not achieve, What do you think went wrong?

I can't be a Student at any of the Universities in Japan. I depend only on my friend and rely heavily on him. Though there are many ways that I can take to get there. Lack of understanding of technology was also the reason even though I was able to apply to one of these universities online with good English that I was fluent in at the time. Everyone has their time and now is my best time and I never stop dreaming, and being a good Steemian is also not something I can do because of factors that also make me reluctant to innovate.

Conclusion

I am very grateful to the community for organizing this contest. This contest brings us to always remember our dreams and what we have achieved. There are a thousand dreams in a child, because dreams are the beginning of success.

I achieved my dream of traveling around Aceh with my partner, and my biggest dream right now is to become a wise housewife and raise children with love and accompany them until they grow up.

Right now, whatever my dream is, I always get support from my parents as well as my husband and children.

Thank you very much for reading my post, I'm very happy to do it and good luck to all, I invite @dhafwa @sailawana @maulidar to join this contest and let's see what dreams you have dreamed of.
See you again,
From your friend,

Woow after reading your article, I realized that you partially full fill all of your childhood dreams of travelling round the world and becoming a lecture because you succeeded in traveling around your city with your husband and you had achieve your dreams of being a teacher at the secondary level though not a lecturer.

I'm happy you took the best decision in your life by quitting your profession as a teacher to become a full time house wife which is pretty cool because you will have enough time to take care of your family. I wish you the best in full filling all your heart desires

Thanks for the support friend,
I am very happy with your comments, it is not impossible that one day the children will take me around the world and one day I can also become a lecturer. It's never too late right?
Greetings and good luck to you

How interesting I find your story, I enjoy reading your post, glad you could travel around your city, it's something. I love the fact that your parent was in support of your dream, not being a lecturer wasn't meant to be but you were opportune to teach high school student and kids. Being able to touch an aspect of our dream is also an achievement, the decision of being a housewife is the best according to you since you find joy in it and convenience.

Thank you for the comments friend, you are right, I feel very comfortable with my current decision, although I still want to achieve my dream and I believe it is never too late for a dream or it is the best for me.
