Writing Contest :What is a family ?||by @jollymonoara
Assalamu Alaikum
Every week this community organizes by @udyliciouz a contest on some topic. So this week's interesting topic is family.
Humans are social creatures and cannot live alone. All of us in the society live with a family. Family is a bond. In this family, we are a group of people closely related by blood relation. And this family is formed by the marriage of a woman and a man according to the Shari'ah. And this is how the initial stage of the family begins and gradually the number of families increases. This number is basically an expression of mutual love.
Now, let here I am answering the contest question step by step.
What is family ? |
---|
Family is a bond. And this society is our first family. An adult in this society begins with the marriage ceremony of a man and a woman. This family consists of parents and their children which is called a single family.
A joint family is formed around parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, and cousins living together.
Family is basically formed in this world based on blood relations. The family is often formed by one or more couples with or without children, based on this combination, relatives, social relations and various institutions are being developed between them, and the members of this family are developing the financial and various social customs of the society.
Family is an unbreakable bond of love and affection. It is from this family that we learn manners, discipline, moral values, healthy thinking, humanity, and love. It is because of this blood bond that the family lends a helping hand to each other's needs. In every family, there is an elderly breadwinner who is called the head of the family. The family members follow all the rules and obey his orders.
I have a family, which I love very much and we love and support each other very much. Currently single family is more common, no one wants to live with a joint family now. I have grown up in a joint family, I know that people today don't know the joy that comes with a joint family. Bonding of love is mainly seen in joint families which is not seen in single families.
2.Name the types of marriage practice in your country ? |
---|
Marriage customs in Bangladesh refer to weddings and other cultures held in different regions of my country. In my country, Biye is addressed as Biya, but in different districts, it is called by different names like Biya, Nikah, and Henga.
As we are Muslims, marriages are organized in our country according to religious norms. In all cases, the marriage work is done in roughly three parts-
For example,
The day before the wedding, the ceremony between body turmeric the groom and the bride.
The next day the marriage ceremony is completed and a feast is held at the bride's house.
On the next day after the wedding, Baubhat or Walima is held at the groom's house, on that day the bride's party also comes.
The wedding day
These events are held according to different religions.
In Muslim weddings, a Qazi is called to the bride's house or a community center, and in the presence of everyone in the bride's house, the Qazi recites the marriage sermon with the consent of the bride and groom. Both the bride and groom say three times accept accept accept. Then everyone in the full Majlis prayed to Allah for the newly married couple to live happily and peacefully. Everyone distributes sweets for the well-being of the bride and groom.
In Hindu religious weddings, the priest recites the mantras and then completes the wedding ceremony with the satpak or satchakkar of the bride and groom. They again went to the temple and completed the wedding ceremony.
Christian marriages are performed by priests in the church and Buddhists are performed by Buddhist monks.
At the end of the wedding ceremony of each religion, the parents of the bride hand over the bride to the groom, and the bride breaks down in tears because of her departure.
3.Describe the major difference between the types of marriages. |
---|
Marriages are generally of two types-
Consensual marriage in the family is called stale or arranged marriage
Marriage with the consent of a boy and girl is called a love marriage.
In this marriage, there is the consent of all, and the marriage is organized on a specific day following all the rules and regulations. Both the bride and groom give each other lots of gifts. The groom gives the bride all the wedding clothes and jewelry to decorate the bride. Again, the bride gives all the wedding clothes to decorate the groom with jewels. Both parties invite relatives and organize a feast and everyone gives gifts to the bride and groom.
Arranged marriage
On the other hand, when boys and girls secretly fall in love and go to court and get married, many families do not accept this marriage. No wedding is specially organized for them. Although many families accept it for social reasons, they do not accept it from their hearts. This marriage is not a happy one, except that there are some families that do not get separated, but most love marriages do not last long. Some problems persist.
