Home work task 3: street related story
according to our home work task by @ukpono we have to write a story about the street on our area . today i will tell you about the street in our town which is one of the busiest street in our town. It is call Peer chota (which means the small worshiper) chowk. LINK

This is the street which connect all four dimensions of the our city at one point its like a connection point for the whole town. There is a grave which is being protected by locals of areas they believe the person in the grave is responsible for the customers, growth of their business and is also protecting them from outsiders invading's etc.

i am growing up by listening many stories about that grave and the person inside that grave. The people said that he was a young boy who was deaf and dumb and used to write what he was asked. whenever somebody was ill before his death he went to them and make prayer for his speedy recovery.

This is not a street it is the believe and faith of my town's people which make this place more vulnerable and worthy to be discussed. there is no define sidewalk or cross walk everything is just manual. people use to maintain the trafficking ,pedestrians safety in this busy road according to there own rules and regulations. in spite of no particular law and order there is never seen any hustle or accidents in this road. But there are many speed bumps on the road because it has many directions. street is being decorated with 2 to 3 benches as a street furniture around the grave which is the main reason of this street name.
surrounding this grave their is a full market which is responsible for the food supply for the town. There are many other shops around it totally 5 mini streets are linked to the main street with 5 different directions.
this street is made with asphalt concreate by local municipal authorities but there is no zebra crossing , median strip , curb ramp etc. depending on how much it is important to locals there is no sign of graffiti at all.

when i try to think about this homework this street comes to my mind and after doing my homework i come to know how important this street is for us and how much it meant for me and the town. this home work give me chance to look at one of the most amazing spot at our town and try to observe it closely.

Even without being there, I feel so connected to the believe of the people. I got captivated by the story of the blind and deaf boy who was a blessing to his community despite his disabilities. This story about Peer Chota is a good read.
