Contest : HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Honesty is a virtue it's a important virtue which makes people get rewarded and promoted too. Honesty is the process of being transparent without cutting corners and telling the truth in everything you do. It means telling the actual way things turn out. Honesty is actually needed in all sphere of live. It gets people to get exactly what they want.

I would be telling a story ending in "Honesty is the best Policy"

Daniel is a worker in a soap factory producing soap and detergents, always punctual and consistent in working in the factory. He was a casual staff always doing the right thing and almost looking flawless.

Moreover, his colleagues where very jealous of him of his unusual favor which he always gets from various people and most especially heavy appreciation he gets from fellow staff and big business customers too.

Moreso, the most painful part was he was the least in age and work experience in his place of work, but the management always gave him heavy salary, and gossips had it he could be promoted soon too above his contemporaries! This instigated plots and whispers to bring his downfall.

Furthermore, there was an emergency meeting held by the board of directors of the company, a report from the human resource manager, one of the conspirators had it that Daniel was stealing from the factory, this brought about the meeting.

However, rumors had it that he had smuggled some products from the company selling at whooping prices to make profits against the company's policy. He was set up by the board of directors to test if the accusation was real.

The plot had it that he would be tempted by random customers to make sure it is real. The plot was finally done to put Daniel to test. He was handed a bag of cash to get the suspected products. But he turned down the offer saying;
"This is against My company's Policy, I'm sorry I can't do it"

He innocently smiled declining the offer, this silenced his foes and he was celebrated and given a promotion letter to a very high rank. "Honesty remains the best policy"

Lesson to Learn

• Honesty is the best response to accusation. Daniel's good deed spoke for him amidst allegations placed on him by his factory workers to tarnish his image.

• Do not be influenced by people, be yourself and do your thing. Daniel was himself and did not want to be influenced by others. He was punctual committed and honest. It made way for him too.

• Your good deeds would never go unrewarded. Honesty remains the best policy. Honesty makes you stand out amongst peers.
