INTRODUCTION

I am so delighted making my contest entry of #steemfriend by @steemingcurators, please if you missed the contest announcement you can check it out here Though I did not meet any of my best friends here on steemit. I had known some of them years back before joining Steemit, and I had to introduce Steemit to them immediately I joined. What are friends for....?, I had to show them a gold I discovered which is Steemit. Though I have plenty of them here, but I'm just going to talk about a few of them. So on this note, I will be sharing my friendship experience with my friends and our journey so far. So follow me as I walk you down the isle.

MY STEEMIT BEST FRIENDS

• @PEACEJOH and @EXCEPTIONAL20

I had known @peacejoh and @exceptional20 since 2007, they are both siblings. I met @peacejoh when I went to stay with my uncle in Abuja Nigeria. We were from the same eastern part of Nigeria and we attended the same Church, Assemblies OF God Church. I spent 4 years in Abuja and @peacejoh was a very close friend all those while. She visits my house at any time and I do visit hers too. Her parents linked me and was fund of me, while my uncle and the wife liked her in return. So we really built a bund that even after I left Abuja for my University education 2011, we still kept being in touch till date, despite the fact that we have not seen since then though she had been inviting me over, of which I'll honour the invitation some day.

@peacejoh is very fun to be with. Those days we attends our Church youth prayer meetings and other activities together. We do virtually everything together. At a point some people started calling us twin. But @peacejoh can be naughty those days anyway, I am happy she had matured now. Seriously this girl was so funny. We use to have some guys coming around to chike us then, if we reject their proposals and they keep persisting this my wonderful friend will suggest we deal with them by setting them up, guess what those guys will always fall victim of the setup. I wouldn't just go into details of the setups, but we dealt with some guys then. If I remember those experiences then, I will be wondering where this girl got those inspirations then.

@peacejoh can also be stubborn then, she doesn't take shit from any one. Be it young or old. Most times If she wants to start, she will tell me "Faith I need to treat someone's fuckup", then I will know that her madness mode had been activated, I'll shaaa try to calm her down. But basically, I am happy she is now very matured and cool headed. Those silly acts had faded away by the transformations that came with maturity. And guess what my @peacejoh is totally a transformed person now, she is now this gentle and addicted God chaser, some times she will call and we will speak for hours and she will be this gentle. I would always be wowed anyway, though she didn't know. I love @peacejoh, she is my friend.
So when I told her about Steemit, she didn't give it a second thought and she signed in, because she knew I wouldn't miss lead her. And since she joined Steemit, she had been enjoying her stay here.

• @EXCEPTIONAL20

Being that I had been close to @peacejoh I automatically became close to every other member of her family including @exceptional20. I had known @exceptional20 for his kind hearted advice then. He used to be and is still this addicted God chaser. He doesn't joke with his Christian activies. We attended same Church and youth programmes together. He will always tell me what my friend is doing at home. Even after I left Abuja Nigeria, we kept being in touch. I had told him about Steemit long before now since July 2020, because I know that he writes, so I had always encouraged him to come put up his write ups on Steemit that it will pay him more, he was having a biased mind. But he was much more motivated when he saw that @peacejoh had signed up, so he immediately did his. And sisnce then, he had been enjoying his ride on Steemit.

• @DLIONESS

@dlioness had also been a good long time friend. I got to meet @dlioness through an outreach program my church held in my campus back then in school 2016. She came for the program, after which we were assigned some people to follow up. As God may have it, I was assigned @dlioness to follow her up. She became more interested and motivated when she found out that we bear same name "Faith". She was so excited about that. Whenever she comes around for fellowship she would ask me so many questions, I would always call her to know how she was faring and all that. I love her for so many things. She is so humble, she can smile for Africa. I had never seen her angry before, most times I would be wandering if she ever gets angry. She is this sacrificial giver, she is ready to please others and displease herself. She has this child like heart, if I shout at her for something she did wrong, she is ready to appologize for as long as she can, when she also gets home from Church, she will call to tell me that she was really sorry. But guess what....?, she is very beautiful too. We had always been friends all through until I left the city (Abia State Nigeria) that we use to be together, we kept being in touch though. When I got to know about Steemit by July 2020, I told her as well. So she didn't hesitate to sign up because she knew I wouldn't miss lead her. And she had been enjoying herself on steemit all the while.

I met @focusnow via online, through a Facebook sponsored ad he ran concerning blogging and writing some time May 2020. Though then he introduced hive to me and I couldn't sign up imediately, because all he was telling me was too good to be real. Though I remained in his seminar whatsapp group, but I had to take my time to sign up. I finally signed up in hive by June and one thing led to the other we left hive for Steemit by July 2020 and started @steemalive here. Since then, he had been a great mentor and a good friend. Though I had only met him once when I visited Abia State Nigeria. He is this motivator. He doesn't give up on things even if it seems not to be working, until it starts working. He derives pleasure in seeing others rise. He is so caring, Hhhhmmmmm. Whenever I calls concerning a challenge I'm having on steemit and maybe some of my posts that are expiring without votes, he would always say "Faith, don't worry keep posting even if there are no results now, it will pay off later; consistency is the key". Those words alone are enough to calm nerves. He had been a good mentor and friend not only to me, but to all of us in steemalive. How far all of us in steemalive had gotten to today on Steemit is all acredited to his unendless sacrifices of mentorship. If we had not joined Steemit through him, we would have been drowned by now on the ocean of Steemit.

Just like I said before, i have so many friends on steemit here but let me just mention but a few.
