There have been cases where crops are lost because they are not harvested on time and the rain damages part of the crop, the process is not easy, and that is why you must work with a person who is an expert in the field and who dedicates time to work done.

Hola queridos amigos de esta bella comunidad, hoy les hablare de la importancia que tiene el maiz cariaco en mim pais venezuela, ya que se pueden preparar muchas cosas con el, durante la epoca de siembra se deben elegir los mejores granos de nuestro almacen, luego se procede a sembrar y esto estara aproximadamente durante tres o cuatro meses, todo dependiendo de si se va a cosechar verde o ya seco.
El grano es un poco mas pequeño , ademas es mas fragil y blando que el maiz amariilo y el blanco de mayor grosor, el problema que tiene este maiz es que si lo descuidamos le pueden caer los insectos gorgojos y se pudre de forma instantanea y no nos servira de nada, se deben guardar en buenos sacos con una pastilla que aleja los insectos para evitar este problema.
Han pasado casos en donde las cosechas se pierden debido a que no se recoge a tiempo y la lluvia dañan parte del cultivo, no es facil el proceso, y es por ello que se debe trabajar con una persona experta en la materia y que le dedique tiempo al trabajo realizado.

Para obtener la harina de este grano, primero se debe tostar en una sarten de gran tamaño y que este bien limpio, esto se hace por media hora y con cuidado de que el grano no se queme ya que es muy delicado, debemos trabajar ordenadamente si queremos que todo nos salga bien.
El grano una ves tostado, se deja reposar por varias horas y se procede a moler en una maquina artesanal, puedes durar una hora moliendo hasta conseguir la harina suave, se han creado maquinas mas grandes que hacen el trabajo mas rapido solo es cuestion de invertir.
Con esta harina se pueden preparar los populares pan de hornos relleno con dulce de leche, lechoza, entre otros sabores de nuestro pais venezuela, no debemos olvidar el carato con leche que es muy delicioso y aporta muchas vitaminas para nuestro organismo.
Muchos bebes hoy en dia crecen sanos y fuertes debido a que desde pequeños se le da maiz cariaco con leche y un toque de azucar como merienda y a ellos les gusta mucho, se lo aconsejo a muchas madres y es muy factible.
