Success is a very subjective topic, as much as it is controversial. You may perceive it very differently than I do. It is the means of motivation, inspiration, and even rivalry among many other things. The bottom line is that everyone is always aimed towards success. For some it is a short-term target, for others it is long-term. Some want it immediately, others can wait for it. One person's success is another person's daily life. It is something that cannot be compared nor weighted. It is as tangible as we are different from one another.

Over the years, people have come up with different ways to approaching success. Some are very widely sold in the form of books, programs, and coaching plans. Some have been passed down through generations, some have been built in the moment. The epiphany is that success isn't impossible, it is attainable.

The concept of success is like a game of chess. You against your task. The pieces on the other side move dependently and independently of your moves. Each has a meaning, a repercussion, and stimulates the results in your end of the board. Some end well, some don't, and some are even stalemates. That is not to mention, there is also luck involved. Come on, you and I know of a person that knows nothing about chess and still beat their opponent in their first match. Beginner's luck. It exists.

While the hunt for the right moves to take down the king is always being concocted, the perfect recipe for success has always been in our heads. We simply sometimes lose sight of it, or ignore it because it seems just too easy. Think of what I am trying to hint at. The most promising move that you can make to reach success is simple, isn't it? The statistics are there to prove it. The answer is simple: to make a move. Before starting anything your chances of success are always 0%. Your first move always increases those odds, it is always upwards from there. You are statistically more successful by initiating your move than you would be if you weren't to start.

That is it. Start. Just start. Anywhere and anything. If you have a goal in mind, the only way you can reach success is by starting. You can sit all day and think about how to be successful. You can plan and plan. You can brainstorm and create blueprints. But you will never be a step closer to success unless you initiate the process. The finer details will always follow. But you will have to begin somewhere.

The same goes for procrastination. The same goes for every single activity we pursue in our daily lives. Every opportunity you do not take towards a goal, leaves you at a 0% advantage. Every step you do take towards your goal puts you closer to success, even by 1%.
