Steeming Community Contest| "At My Strongest"| "At The Time I Gave Birth, Alone but Joyful"

Greetings steemian friends!

Here I am again, wanted to share another post through this new contest "At My Strongest".
We all have our different strongest point in our experiences in life. May that be good or bad encounter but what's impossible is, won't fail to always move forward.

One greatest memory that I'd consider my strongest one was when I gave birth to my second child. My first birth, my parents and husband were there with me. But this second one, I went to the hospital alone. Two days before I gave birth also, there was 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit our country and caused great damages in our place. There were still aftershocks we were experiencing when we were in the hospital.
Going back to the day, I gave birth, I was alone when I went to the hospital at 9:00 in the morning because my parents and husband were working that time. I went there because I felt stomach cramps, supposedly I should ride a taxi so I could immediately arrived, but I was unfortunate, I didn't. So I rode public transportation, "jeepney".
The hospital staffs entertained me right away since I applied for package. I was then transferred to the delivery room after the doctor's check. I really wanted to call my family that "I'm going to give birth." But I am more focused to the safe delivery of my son. Blessed with God, I gave birth instantly. Too much happiness filled me that time as I saw my son. I only informed my family right after I gave birth when a kind-hearted nurse helped me.
For me, I considered it as my strongest experience that I faced because I never let my worries or emotions overcome me. I needed to be in too much self-control at those times that I was alone.
I shared this because sometimes we feel that we are alone, and we should not be drowned by our sadness or fears, because there is always hope and ways.

Every time, I see my whole family, specially my son, I always put in mind that everything I do is a matter of being in control, specially in our down times.
