District Chhatra Dal protested against the attack on Central Chhatra Dal leader Nusrat Nadia and the arrest of activists in a false case. The police lathi-charged the procession and arrested four people.

However, the police say that when two groups of Chhatra Dal clashed during the procession, the police used baton charge to control the situation and arrested four people.

The arrested are Mohammad Yasin, Joint Convener of Feni Municipal Chhatra Dal, Municipal Chhatra Dal Leader Sharif, Chanua Union Chhatra Dal Leader Jasim, Dharmapur Union Chhatra Dal Leader Hriday.

According to party sources, the procession was supposed to leave the city's trunk road zero point on Sunday morning to protest against the attack on Chhatra Dal leader Nusrat Nadia and the arrest of the activists in a false case. But when the procession came in front of Jai Kali Mandir Market on Shaheed Shahidullah Kaiser Road, the police started lathicharge. The procession was dispersed. Meanwhile, the police chased and arrested four people.

General Secretary of Feni Zilla Chhatra Dal, Morshed Alam Milan, said that during our peaceful program, the police suddenly started lathicharge and arrested four people. At least 15-20 people were injured in the lathicharge.

When asked about this, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Feni Model Police Station said. Nizam Uddin said that when two groups of Chhatra Dal clashed during the procession, the police arrested four people by baton-charged to control the situation.

District Chhatra Dal general secretary Morshed Alam Milan and organizing secretary Zakir Hossain Riyad led the march along with district Chhatra Dal joint general secretary Shaukat Ali Jewel, Saiful Islam Ziku, office secretary Ariful Islam Chowdhury Sumon, Sadar Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Delwar Hossain, member secretary Nazrul Islam, Feni Government College. Chhatra Dal Convener Abul Halim Manik, Feni Municipal Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Ibrahim Hossain Ibu, Danganbhuia Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Saimun Haque Rajib, Sonagazi Municipal Chhatra Dal Convener Nazrul Islam Rinku, Chhagalnaiya Upazila Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Ibrahim Miyaji Nayon and other unit leaders participated.
