So, working smart is all about using your time efficiently to do the best results in a minimal amount of time. There are a lot of tips and smart ways you can follow to get smart work done, this article will give you 3 smart tips on how to smart work.

First smart tip: Prioritize - Be aware of what's important

One smart tip that makes smart workers stand out is their ability to prioritize their tasks. Many people simply tend not to prioritize because it takes effort and they don't feel like putting much energy into thinking about priorities when it comes down to self-management. The main problem with that though is that there's no way you can accomplish everything in life without prioritizing your goals; setting your highest straight away makes sure you're smart enough to focus on smart goals.

You need to prioritize all your tasks from high priority to low priority, smart workers always keep in mind that anything that's high-priority needs the most attention and energy while only the low priority stuff can wait until a smart time comes up. Smart work is organized smart work so you need smart tools for smart results. For example: use a task app to see your tasks sorted by priority - this way you won't miss any important deadline or task because you have it soundly scheduled.

Second smart tip: Keep yourself alert and focused

When you get into working mode, try not to get distracted by side issues or feeling overwhelmed with other things that popped up during the day, and that often happens with me too. So many people tend to lose focus and smart energy when trying to smart work, this leads them to distraction that leads them away from smart targets.

Your smart tools for smart work should help you focus on your tasks all the time, keep yourself alert and always know what's happening with your smart goals. If you are using a task app to manage your smart work, make sure it's simple enough so distractions are minimized - starting with notifications which can be switched off completely if needed.

Third smart tip: Know how much time you'll need for each task

Defining clear deadlines or timing limits for each smart task before getting started will allow you to get quick results while minimizing reworking what has already been done - another common mistake of many people who tend not to plan their smart work.

If you smart manage smart goals, having smart deadlines or timing limits will make smart work smarter; put smart timeframes on your smart goals (for example 30 minutes) and use them as the limit to which you can work on each task. When done with your smart tasks, always check out how much time it took you to complete - this way you'll discover how long certain smart tasks take to be done by you; if something takes too long (which may happen), find better ways of smart management for that particular piece of work.

Hope you like these 3 tips and will implement them as well.

I can't read self-help books but like reading your self-help posts. 😀

I also follow these three strategies when there's too much work and less time.
I prioritize and set time frames and to maintain the focus level, I turn my phone on silent mode or just simply put it away. For me, the biggest distraction is a phone. I don't use any management apps because I know I will get distracted. That's why I keep a notebook around and write down everything thing in it, like to-do lists and other plans.
