STEEMIT ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE || Three Things I love about my country and Three Changes
Assalamualaikum
I hope you all are doing well, enjoying your happy and healthy life. First of I congratulate Steemit Pakistan on winning the steemit engagement challenge. I loved to try something new on steemit so, I started to participate in each community challenge. This is going to be my second participation in the engagement challenge.
This week's challenge in Steemit Pakistan is to write about 3 Rs and 3 Cs about your country. So we have to share the 3 reasons why we consider our country best and 3 changes which we want to happen in our country.
Reasons
I belong to Pakistan the country which contains the largest number of Muslims. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan as its name, it's a country created for Muslims even though there are minorities of other religions too.
The first thing I loved about my country this the place where Muslims can live independently without hurdles and restrictions. Our country gives us the right to speak about our issues either in front of huge gatherings or small. Everyone has the right that in which way they want to spend their life.
We are blessed that we are not slaves of anyone and we have our separate country to live happily and peacefully. We can perform our religious obligation without any fear as we were facing before the creation of Pakistan.
The second thing which is best about our country is the hospitality which our country shows to foreigners or other city people. I am from Lahore a city famous for its hospitality and food. You become overwhelmed when you visit Pakistan and see our hospitality. For example, if you are going to stay with someone at home either your relatives or others you will see that they will take care of you and even provide you comfortable whatever they have to do for this.
If you got injured then unknown people in our country will take you to hospital and take care of you until your family members arrived or even they left you on your home. In Holy Month like now in Ramadan, they arranged an Iftar party/dinner for those who are new to your society or country and will help in your adjustment in our country. The most important thing to help you while you traveling to Pakistan (Tourism). The people in Pakistan will guide you about roads and their shortcuts to save you time.
The 3rd thing is the education system in Pakistan. Education is free for poor, needy, and orphan students. Our government started scholarship programs for brilliant students to help in their progress and as a reward for their hard work. Even I also received a 36,000/- Pkr scholarship after matriculation. Getting scholarships from university and college too due to my academic record.
Government schools, colleges, and universities are taking small amounts of fees even for the government when I was studying there were only 20/- PKR fees for one year. Also, give scholarships on monthly basis to every student and there was no discrimination before Fsc. Everyone gets scholarships in hundreds or thousands of Pakistani rupees.
Changes
Pakistan needs to change a lot of things but I will try to mention only what is important and we should focus on their improvement.
The first thing that I want to change is our political system. The users from Pakistan know that there are only a few people who are governing for years and years. They all focus on their prosperity and family as well. Each government started one or 2 projects for the nation and this is going to be the best thing which they are doing for their nation according to them. But they don't know we need to change the system which only works for the rich people and the poor are waiting that they would get a chance of a job or not.
We need to elect young men for our country because they are more enthusiastic about their country's prosperity. They will work for their nation only not for some people. I have seen some Pakistani youngsters who want to work but they didn't give them an opportunity or even declared them children that they don't know about government policy to run our country.
2nd thing I want to change is the redistribution of money. As Muslims, we give donations, zakat, and help needy people. But this is done by most mediocre people, some rich will also do this but it's not on a large scale. Many people are rich but they didn't even try to help the needy and collected money for their families or even for illegal work. We need to redistribute their money by giving zakat and donations which will help the needy people also try to make foundations or rehabilitation centers for their take care.
In Holy Quran, it's also written if you give one thing or one rupee Allah will give you back in double. So, we should try to help poor people and this will also purify our money. Our country or government should start such policies according to them you should give zakat and fitrana for their help and redistribution of money. There are also some projects running in our country but we still need improvement.
3rd thing which I want to change is our parents should focus on their child's education because in the era of making money only people forget to concentrate on their children. In recent news, there are 2 to 3 girls who left their homes and married unknown boys even though they were not from the same city. In an era of social media competition, parents are not checking what their children are doing on their cell phones, and when children see their parents have no issue regarding using their cell phones they use them in the wrong way (Not all children).
The reason for leaving their homes girls were their parents were strict and they didn't ask our opinion about a marriage proposal and fix their wedding. In Islam, daughters have the right to give their opinion on a marriage proposal but it doesn't mean you left your parents and trust unknown people. In this case, both are guilty. Parents didn't teach their children values and tried to impose their opinions on them instead of understanding their point of view.
Children consider their parents are not doing good and starting to trust others. In which era we are living we need to focus on children's education as well as Islamic education too. These are our next generation and if they don't know their values then what they should teach to their children.
Pakistan is the best country but being Muslims we should need to change some things. We are blessed that Allah created this country for us which is very beautiful. A single person can't make changes in Pakistan we should need to work as a community as a nation. May God bless our country. Our country prospers day by day. Insha Allah (Ameen).

Hello @ashkhan
I read your post and i agree with some changes and reasons you've mentioned overall it is a good post but you could've made this post more beautiful...
Best of luck for the contest❤
Thank you.
Alhumdulillah We are independent. And our country gave us right to speak about our problems.
And indeed our country is very hospitable and it's a great place to visit for tourists.
Yes It's great work by the Government.
Proud 🇵🇰
You wrote it well but i think if you attach some pictures it enhances your post.
I appreciate your effort but needs more improvement in presentation.
Best of luck.
Yeah Pakistani people are very hospitable. In villages the guest of 1 person is considered a guest of the whole street.
Best of luck for the contest
Thank you dear. Yes you're true.
You've rightly mentioned that we're blessed to be given an opportunity to live in this independent Islamic country. Many people are deprived of this blessing.
Our political situation really need to improve. Hoping and praying for the best.
Dear @ashkhan its best ever post i wrote, i conclude you love conutry so much. As you mention we have freedom of speech, we are not slaves. Its very important for us we can express whatever we have in our mind. Definitely in Pakistan there is no such restrictions.
Yeah Pakistan is the land of hospitality and lahore my home town people are really good there. Now i am residing in kpk its also land of hospitality too. Iftar food giving to others is beautiful culture.
I really like this step that education is free for all either rich or poor, Pak gave equal chance of education to every citizen.
I like your thinking about changes you want. Offcourse we need a leader who is active can work for common people, can undersatnds the needs of poors.
You are right there would be keen care requried by parents, as modernism and advances in social media is the need of day, but its negative aspects are more diverse. Parents should know what their children are doing. Its their responsibility as the child is in young age could not better know what is right or wrong.
You wrote appreciablly nice post.keep sharing your good contents with us.
Wa Alikum Assalam
I totally agree with the first two points that you love about the country that is independency and hospitality. The best part about living in the Islamic Republic is we are not bounded to follow our Islamic traditions. And there is no doubt that the people of our country are selfless when it comes to hospitality.
However, I support the statement that the government is providing scholarships but then also most of the slum areas need their consideration for spreading education. Many children are still uneducated.
I wish to see education prevailing in every sector of this country without the difference in status
The changes you want to see are legit and I pray may we see them soon in our country :)
NOTE: You can use free images to add some colors to your post and different markdowns
Dear @ashkhan. You describe our country In a very good way. Your love and devotion are shown in this post and seem your own simple words. I impressed. And your point of view on new changes is great. I agreed about education and I agree that you discuss parents' and children's wishes and opinions. Yes, it should be changed. And You discuss our hospitality. And you are right our PAKISTANI people are very kind-hearted. I am also PAKISTANI. Being a MUSLIM and Pakistani I feel proud
