Assalam u aikum everyone!

Hey peeps!

This is me Aniqa Mashkoor, need a lot of prayers for my final Fyp presentation, the anxiety is real, seriously. Welcome to my diary. Warm greetings to you all hope so you guys will be doing great. Stay happy and positive. Take care of yourselves and be safe.

It was a pretty Saturday I woke up at 9 a.m. I was so tired and wanted to sleep more but ammi woke me up. I had to go to university but I dropped this idea and stayed at home. Did my breakfast and cleaned the house. It was very hot and there were no chances of rain as soon as I came into the room after watering the plants I heard my cousin was shouting that dark clouds are coming :p Sorry but I know my diary will be sounding more like a rainy day essay. And soon it started to rain I went upstairs and enjoyed the rain with my cousins.

I personally love rain. It brings so much peace and calmness in the atmosphere and in oneself too. The smell of rain is beautiful and I am mad for rain and sea or anything that belongs to nature and brings peace to my mind and heart. After enjoying the rain I came down changed my clothes and performed namaz. Then my mother maid biryani and trust me it was a good combo little cool environment and hot biryani.

The picture is a blur because there was no light and we all were so hungry and to be very honest my mother hates this that before eating I am always like can we please take a picture :p so she was getting angry that's why I made it quick. Then I washed all the dishes it was raining still. I had some pending work so I opened my laptop and completed my chapter for the final report. And then I watched some dramas and A film on Netflix. It was named as Afterlife Party and it was humorous and a nice watch- a family movie. And like this only I successfully wasted half of my day chilling in my bed with my phone.

It was around 6 when I left my bed and went to the kitchen to make tea. I put the water on the boil and performed my Asr prayer when I came back to the kitchen I found that my mother was making pakorey. They were of two types. I am not a huge fan but I eat it. okay, so she make them one of potato and the other one were of onion. But trust me they tasted so well actually the scene matters. That smell of rain, a cup of hot tea, and these pakorey. A perfect combination for someone who loves all these things. Then I and ammi played games on phone and then after performing Maghrib prayer we watch an old Indian film "chupkey chupkey" It is a funny movie and we both laugh out loud.

After this baba had to go to a wedding ceremony of his friend's daughter so he left and ammi went to the kitchen then I was so bored so she called me in kitchen and said that today you'll cook. So she was there telling me all the steps I don't know much how to cook but I can follow the recipe and cook well. So I made tahari I don't know what you people call it. It turned out tasty.

It turned out like this which was pretty nice for the first attempt.

And this was all about my day. Hope so you guys liked it and enjoyed it. I personally love rain and I wish that may we have a proper drainage system here in our city soon so that everyone can enjoy this blessing of Allah. Take care of your selves. Keep loving yourself because YOU ARE THE BEST.
