Revising the Eligibility for Votes from steemcurator03/07 Accounts | Proposal | SL Exclusive
Now, the number of members from Sri Lanka is increasing daily. I check closely 7-8 achievement 1 posts every Wednesday. And also sometimes I chat with some random new comer's and what they always saying is "I don't have much idea". We conducted a zoom session recently and 25 of them joined but still, there is a majority who have no idea what is the real rhythm of steemit. The result of this blind posting is less survival on steemit.
I mentioned several times the recruiters have a big responsibility to show them the correct path and make them understand about basics of steemit, rather than showing them where to buy votes.
I see so many upcoming challenges with the increasing crowd. When the crowd increases, with the wrong guidance they tend to spread here and there and it will lead to weaker the strength we have as a community. On other hand, some can start to abuse the reward system. Let me share a recent story. Pictures talk. This account @dh-music had not to mention me in her achievement 1. The first thing we observed is the face and hands are not matched and the hands look like a man. There was another photo written "A photo taken by myself in our home garden" with a hand of a man which is not matched the face and color at all.
Later one of our members pointed this is edited with FaceApp and @sandupi verified it. Also, this @dh-music so fast newcomer joined our discord server within few hours of joining steemit. I requested a simple social media verification while chatting and she (he) never come back.
The second reason for writing this post is, I observed some newcomers even don't have Steem Power to cover resource credit. But have sold double amounts of steem out. As a single person or a team, we can't talk to each one and ask to power up. The closest person is the recruiter who should teach them.
Is this good?
My question, if the steemit is all about getting a vote and selling, for what all these activities and community building?
With such a background, I thought to propose some specific changes regarding using @steemcurator accounts for curating Sri Lankans. @steemcurator07 and @steemcurator03 in use which are given by steemit team.
I am suggesting following constraints when voting using each account.
Achievement 1
First I would like to request @steemcurator01 to not to vote on un verified achievement 1 posts specifically with #srilanka tag. If the user is not real it is very difficult to remove larger votes.
When curating achievement 1, I will not verify members who doesn't show any activity after posting the achievement 1. They should at least reply on the comments the get.

- Thoes who haven't published a valid achievement 1 post will be skipped
- Thoes who have delegate or transfer coins for voting services will be skipped. They should focus to delegate any community curation projects.
- Members who has less than 200 SP but selling all steem without powering up will be skipped.
This proposal is open for changes.
And if anyone found abusing the reward pool with clear evidence, I will lead to take necessary actions to remove their votes.
P.S: So waiting for the announcement of new country representatives.

When the Steem price stabilizes above $ 1, there will be many new accounts that are not real, especially if you get a positive vote on post achievement 1, there will automatically be an increase in fake account nurseries.
The Greeter Team must work hard to ensure each Achievement 1 post is not a duplicate account.
I don't think the country representatives and the community leaders, moderators deserve a vote from steemcurators where the contest reward is below 15 steem yet getting votes worth more than 5 fold of the reward.
There are some communities where I have seen even the contest reward is 5 steem and have received a vote of more than $50, Is this good? It's just like this.
And at the end of the week instead of power-up, transferring more than 75% in their own pocket.
This initiative is very important for the community in every country. CRs of all countries should take such a decision. Then it is possible to reduce fake IDs. Many thanks for making such a beautiful decision.
Yeah, when increasing the number of members these kinds of problems are happening. It directly affects the quality and abuse of the reward pool. But meanwhile, we should popularize steemit in the country as well. So, this verifying process should be done very carefully. And they should be guided correctly
Should be to contribute to increase the quality of the Steemit platform and not to destroy it. Correct guidance will protect that. And I hope not to experience anything like this in the future...😥

@randulakoralage Your opinion is very interesting and the fact is also happening elsewhere. Their motivation is only to take advantage of Steemit, but also many people join in and are motivated to advance Steemit, solution must exist and you're doing the right thing ..your idea has been accepted by steemcurator1 and thanks for it..

very true Randula. I also saw these things recently on the platform. And you have taken actions and given suggestions to take actions with this. I am on your side with what you have suggested here.
recently many join the platform only to take advantages. they don't have any idea of how things going and I think we should give some time to understand what it this and how it works. people with better idea do better jobs here and have long term survival here. those who come without any idea, and those who don't wanna learn the pattern here, end up soon.
