A Delightful Sunday Date at Galle !

As we had nothing specifically planned for the long weekend, I proposed to Harith that we go on a date on Sunday. There was a restaurant in Galle Fort that I had noticed on YouTube, so our plan was to do some shopping and go to that restaurant afterward.

After having breakfast at home, we started our small trip. It takes about an hour to travel from our house to Galle town. On the way, we saw plenty of Dansals, but we didn't stop due to the crowd. We reached Galle town around 10:15 a.m. and went directly to Pink Arcade to purchase some products. After that, we went to Manjaree to check it out, and there we purchased a few household items. The arrangement of Manjaree had changed a little, and we saw plenty of beautiful artificial flowers there.

Finally, the time arrived to visit Galle Fort. We parked the car and walked to the restaurant we had been waiting for. Its name is KiXi Cafe. It was located on Lighthouse Street and was a three-story building. Their menu is based on breakfast and brunch, and they are open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The place was not as spacious as many other restaurants in Galle Fort, but it had a clean and peaceful atmosphere. Some of the items on the menu weren't available, and we had to change our order twice because of that. Finally, we settled on fish and chips, rainbow pancakes, and a KitKat and Oreo milkshake.

All the food was delicious, and my favorite was the rainbow pancakes.

Actually, it was "the" item that I picked from home. It was a small set of Nutella pancakes with syrup, garnished with lots of fruits. It was so delicious.

After having our meal, we took some photographs at a nearby location and headed back home. The day turned out to be a wonderful and memorable experience. Spending quality time together in such a beautiful setting, exploring new places, and enjoying delicious food made it a perfect day. We returned home feeling content and happy, already looking forward to our next adventure.
