Good Friday Story ✝

in Steem Sri Lanka2 months ago

It was the good Friday on the 29th of March. As Catholics, we are used to go to church on good Friday. On this day, some traditions from the past still continue in the churches. They reproduce the scenario which happened that day.

On Good Friday, Catholics remember the day Jesus was crucified, which means he was nailed to a wooden cross and left to die. It's a sad day because Jesus suffered and did bear a lot of pain. So that, it is a remembering day. It's also important because Catholics believe his death allowed them to be forgiven for their sins.

It's like a special day to think about how much Jesus loves people and how he preferred to endure so much pain for them. People may go to church, pray, and think about Jesus' sacrifice on Good Friday.

Jesus was a kind and loving teacher who did many good things. But some people didn't like him because they were jealous and didn't believe in him. They arrested Jesus and accused him of things he didn't do. They made fun of him, hurt him, and eventually nailed him to a cross to die.

But even though Jesus suffered so much, he forgave the people who hurt him. He showed incredible love until the very end. Catholics believe that Jesus' death on Good Friday wasn't the end of the story. They believe he rose from the dead on Easter Sunday, showing that love is stronger than anything, even death.
