Entry For Steemit Engagement Challenge ||Season2, Week #4 || My work life and Steemit By Shohana1
Greetings friends of Steemit Azerbaijan☪✔
This is my first appearance in this community, this steemit engagement challenge idea really help us to discover communities from around the world and we can make a good and strong bond among us. Today's topic is about work life and steemit which is already included as my work. So in this blog I'll focus on discussing my working life and how steemit contributing on my financial status.
It was October 2020 when I left my full time job. It was An IT company and it was great experience working there but I choose to be my own boss and I choose freelancing as my profession. In our society freelancing is not a profession and it has no respect and identity. But who cares? Its my life and I should decide what to do and I choose freelancing where there is no boss to rule me.
Don't get me wrong, my previous job was good enough and the owner of the company was also a good human being but I wanted to be independent so I choose freelancing. Actually I'm a freelancer since 2014 when I was a student but freelancing was in learning phase so my earning was not good enough so I also teach students as a private tutor. I did straggle enough to reach the position today I have and the position is having freedom. Yes! having freedom is the best achievement for a human and I have it and steemit helped me a lot in this journey.
Do you like your job?
When its freelancing and bringing freedom they ofcourse yes I love my job. I've added steemit in my freelancing job where there I have no boss to rule me and there is No time limit or boundaries, no deadlines and thankfully no stress.
Can you make time at work for Steemit?
Yes I can make enough time after finishing other designing and blogging jobs I do as a freelancer and I consider steemit as my bank account where I'm earning steem, powering up and my steemit wallet is my bank account where from I can pick my savings when I may have to need it. I love to spend time on steemit beside doing my freelancing work for other sites.
Could Steemit be your first job?
Steemit has enough capability to be the first job for many steemians. Specially when we accumulate a good amount of steem power like 50k, it can help or support us more than a regular job. Steemit could be a first job, could be a better investment plan and better work station ever for me or many of us.
How is your financial situation?
Alhamdulillah (praise to be Almighty Allah) my financial situation or condition is good enough and I'm a self employed, self dependent women now. I'm really very blessed to have a life where I can bring and buy things of my own. I've no need to ask for financial help or support from anyone, not even from my family. I've completed my graduation and post graduation with the money I have earned and its more than a blessing from Almighty Allah.
What do you need to turn the Steemit platform into your workplace?
Probably it takes a lots of time to earn 100k steem power and I think having this amount in my wallet can help me to consider steemit as my workplace. I may leave my other job when I will be able to accumulate 100k steem power and the value of steem will be more than a dollar.
This is not yet my plan because I'm happy with combined freelancing jobs and steemit also included in it. I withdraw from other jobs and I save some in steemit and this may takes such a long time. My goal is not biggest but at least 100k steem power can be a satisfied amount for me to start something good like my own business which may based on steem currency.
Steemit Is The Name Of Satisfaction:
Our work or job is something we need to do even we may not comfortable with it or we may have a lots of complications with the job we have or we do. I really don't compare steemit with job or work because I enjoy being a part of steemit and here my writing blogs is my satisfaction not stress at all. I never get tired spending time here in this platform and this pay me its a great thing and its contribute in financial stabilities.
Most important thing about steemit is that earning encourage me to be here for sure but I feel the passion for blogging and expressing myself and this platform is now a kind of passion for many and you guys can count me one of them. That's all I want to say my friends!

I have always wished to be a freelancer. But I think I don't have the required skills oh I just find very difficult to be a freelancer from Cameroon. I love the mindset you put here a lot of people don't respect people who don't get up and go to their job site everyday and because of that I think you should be disrespected. But nobody I mean nobody should tell you what to do in life.

In life what actually stops us from achieving what we want is fear and laziness. But with a hard working person like you, gaining your freedom was easy. Many people will not easily do what you did despite your boss was good and the payment was good too
Having 50k steem seems like a dream but with hard work, consistency and determination you will achieve it like others. I wish you luck on that.

Wow you are an inspiration. You take care of yourself and no one supports you is something rare. I'm sure you are very good at freelancing so you earn a decent amount there. Your dreams for yourself on steemit is amazing. I pray they come true one day.

When we have freedom we have the whole world in our palms, we chose what to do, how to do it and when to do it, decisions will be made by us not some boss, i like your idea of being free from commands and instruction now you are a boss at freelancing and steemit together.

Most definitely. You shouldn’t allow anyone to dictate to you how you’ll live your life. Financial freedom is what we all hope for.
Like you’ve rightly pointed out steemit definitely has the potential of being a first job and that will be more achievable if one has a higher steem power. At least with that your votes carry more weight and you’re able to get more curation rewards.
