A blue fan truly that bleeds blue as one who is majorly aware of their activities and interested in their welfare i always follow up with them. Yes in my other articles i had professed to be a fan of Madrid, the royal whites of spain. Yes indeed am a madrid fan but when it comes to england top division am a true fan of the blues.

Now during the summer madrid didnt really make a major signing but chelsea did. They went into the market and acquired some fine players who make sure they compete with Europe top clubs.

They acquired the service's of Werner, Ben Chiwell, Thiago silva, Kai havertz, Hakim Ziyech.
But in all these great signings it was the signing of Kai Havertz that truly thrills me. Yes indeed

     WHO IS KAI HAVERTZ

Kai lucas havertz is a german professional footballer who plays for chelsea football club currently after first plying his trade in bayern leverkusen and plays for the german national team.

He was born in june 11 1999, making him 21 years old. He was born in Aachen Germany, He is
1.89M tall about 6 ft 2 in

      HIS PREFERED POSITION

Well he is often described as a player who can play everywhere but he prefered to play as an attacking midfielder or a right winger.

This is the positions he is currently playing in at chelsea and also did play for bayern leverkusen.

      HIS QUALITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Havertz has been described as technically gifted, two-footed midfielder who is comfortable with the ball on either foot and adept with his head.

During his formative years, his style of play drew early comparisons to compatriot Mesut Özil, with Havertz himself admitting the Arsenal midfielder was a player he looked up to.

By the age of 19, and following numerous impressive performances in the Bundesliga, further comparisons had been drawn between Havertz and former Leverkusen players such as Michael Ballack and Toni Kroos and everyone in the world began describing him as a combination of the lot.

Upon making his debut for Bayer Leverkusen in 2016, Havertz became the club's youngest-ever debutant in the Bundesliga, and he became their youngest-ever goalscorer when he scored his first goal the following year. He is also the youngest player to reach the milestones of 50 and 100 league appearances in the German top flight.

      WHY CHELSEA SIGNED HIM

Ofcourse the top clubs will always go for the top and brightest players. Chelsea needed reinforcement both in the midfield area and attacking options.

After the departure of club legend Eden Hazard who have carried the burden of shouldering Chelsea for years, the club knew they had to spend big to fill the hole left by their superstar and club hero eden hazard.

Is not always easy to fill the shoes left by superstars but in havertz i think chelsea may have gotten something of a real gem. A player who can wissle a pass to the forward players even in the tightest of moment, a player who can retain ball in small spaces and a player who if played on the right wing can easily cut in and shoot at goal with his favourite left foot.

Little wonder chelsea splash the cash to get him for fee in the region of £72M. Making him the most expensive German player of all-time

      KAI HAVERTZ POTENTIAL

Yes chelsea spend to find an eden hazard replacement, but in Kai havertz wouldnt say they have found hazard replacement as i dont believe one player can adequately fill the role left by another big player, no not really.
But, in the case of havertz at his age and qualities i think he has the potential to make his own name at chelsea in his own way and create a legacy that will always be remembered whenever chelsea's greats are mentioned of having his name being mentioned alongside them. Yes he has the potential to make that happen and be recoqnised as a world class footballer and if natured properly and put in the hardwork needed he could be soon spoken of in the same lights as man city's Kevin de bruyne, Real madrid's Toni Kroos and other established and well decorated players.

For this reason chelsea's acquisition of Kai havertz is considered as my best transfer on the recent transfer window.
