We all have a place called home and if you've not, at least something or somewhere you lay your head with smiles on your face, it is on this note that I would be participating in this contest titled "what is the meaning of home for you" by @afrizalbinalka. Without further ado, let's get to work.

Home is a term that means a lot in the life of different people. Home for some is a place to come after the day's work to relax and feel comfortable. For some, home is a starting point from which they set off towards their adventures.
Then, some believe that the home is not merely a specific place but rather a place where the closest and dearest people gather.
For me, as much as all thoughts of home mentioned above is very correct, I will borrow the famous quote of Pliny the Elder.
"Home is where the heart is" - Pliny the Elder
This is what best describes home for me, I think home is wherever the heart finds peace, comfort and laughter. It is the starting place of love, hope and dreams in the life of every human. Home marks the starting point of all our stories. It comes the magic that makes it hard to leave, and eager to return to.
Home is a place to relax, energize and be convenient. It is a haven even in the most challenging times in the life of a person.

As I said earlier, a home is a place of love, it is the place where your heart finds comfort and peace, it is the first place of support, and you are safe to run to when challenges come at you first.
To me, what makes the home feel comfortable is family, your support system. It could be a frantic and hanky-panky place as there might be kids, but it is indeed where the heart finds peace, rest and revitalisation.
Family brings me all kinds of joy from moments spoken to experiences they share, it might not be a room with all family members, but hearing from them alone gives me an unmounted joy.

They say "There is no place like home" and trust me, there is no home without people to share the excitement and joy, hence theirs no home without family. Family is what gives me comfort and helps me relax at home. A house is not a home without family.

FAMILY. Family is the word that reminds me of the meaning of home, with family comes everything such as Unity, Love, Support, Excitement, Happiness and Relaxation.
Family is the very reason homes even exists so members can live together and learn to support and be part of each other's life. Without family, home is of no existence, with family comes home even as life tends to separate us from each other, the family will always be home.

Home is where the heart says it is and family is what makes home, hence the feeling of homesickness whenever they are not around their family members and close ones. Home is where we all learn to build affinities on trust, make sacrifices, and cultivate refined thoughts and behaviours as it is where life's journey starts.

You have good opinion about home. I agree with you about "Home is where the heart is". Bcz Home holds many memories. At home we do many things.
Ruma is also the place of beginning and ending.
I once discussed a novel written by an Indonesian. If I'm not mistaken, the title is "Pulang". The novel describes a story about a person who goes to a very far place, then returns home as the final destination.
