Hi there

Waste is only a waste if we waste it and when we throw something away, it must go somewhere which is Waste.

What do you think when you see someone throwing rubbish carelessly? and, in your country what is the form of punishment for people who deliberately throw rubbish carelessly?

Throwing rubbish carelessly has never brought a good reputation to any country or place. For me, people who throw rubbish carelessly are lazy people, dirty people, and people without a future.

I don't think any futuristic person would do such a dirty thing. I see a lot of people acting as though they don't operate in the same country they dwell in. How can a fully grown man or woman just move within the street and drop packs of rubbish in a nearby bush, not minding the circumstances?

Such people who do these things don't grow; they are always at the same level from year to year. Since they don't ever see their environment growing or changing, how possible is it for them to grow? We act who we are, so that is who they are, and they are showing it by their attitude.

I have never seen any punishment given to anyone who deliberately displays such an act. They usually go free, and mostly, these individuals throw this trash at midnight or in the early hours of the morning.

There was a time some task force men were placed around my community to watch people who deliberately dropped trash. They caught a woman on one occasion, and she paid a heavy ransom. After that incident, there was a hold on such an act, but it started all over again when these task forces left.

Now we see rubbish pole to pole, everywhere looking all messy and disgusting. Hopefully, the punishment standard will be imposed again and the act will reduce

At your place, is waste used to increase income? What are the benefits of waste that can make money there?

Waste will remain a part of our lives for as long as we exist. While some people may produce more waste than others, everybody produces waste in their daily lives through cabbage, dirty water, or leftover food.

I know a man who happens to be my cousin's husband; he is into waste recycling. This man sends his boys to move around the neighborhood hunting for iron. At the end of the day, they pack large quantities of iron to their factory, where these irons are melted to produce better things.

Iron is one of the world's most recycled items. People go after iron because of its value because, when melted, it can also be used to create other metals.

In your opinion, how do you manage household waste properly so that it does not have a bad impact on the environment?

Household waste is a regular drop that increases daily. No matter how hard we try, waste must be generated, but waste can be managed.

Reduce plastic usage

We should limit the way we use plastic bottles. Bottle water can be bought and discarded properly. We can also drink directly from cups instead of using straws. Glass cups can be used instead of plastic cups. We can create paper bags for shopping and avoid too many plastic bags at home. Some animals are reported to have swallowed little plastics, resulting in their deaths, and this could be very dangerous to our environment.

Limit the use of paper

This is found mostly at offices and among children. A lot of children play away with their books, lettering paper everywhere around the neighborhood. It can be reduced by getting a writing board or writing pad for their studying. Used papers can also be burned. You can engage more in online transactions to limit the use of paper.

Planning

Planning helps reduce household waste. When we plan for our daily meal, we find out that there won't be any waste, like leftover food, but when we don't plan, we have more to waste. If you can have a food timetable that could help you cook a certain quantity of food that you can consume within a time frame, that could help manage waste.

Will the accumulation of large amounts of waste affect the comfort of people in your neighboring country? How did that happen? share your opinion

Oh yes! The accumulation of large amounts of waste would affect the comfort of people in the neighborhood. Waste accumulation will harm the environment's quality and ability to sustain life.

It puts one's health at greater risk through bad breath. There is no way the environment would produce clean air and water for people. The air would be contaminated, causing people around them to breathe poorly.

The accumulation of waste would find its way back to our food, causing more disease to our health. When our environment is dirty and filled with rubbish, it attracts a lot of insects, and when these insects perch on our food, we are likely to contract one disease or another.

You have very rightly mentioned a problem that happens in our country. Whether they are adults or young people, they carry the waste secretly and throw it away in the bush. Other people can't see it. But they do not understand that it is not right to do so. You said that because of dumping, there was a task force system that usually oversees it. You are right, as long as there are humans on this earth, waste will be a part of us. So we always need to be clean. If we are not clean by our own initiative then our society will never be clean from this waste. Very well written, I wish you all the best.

Hola @ninapenda

Buenas noches amiga 🌹

Your words has given a perfect description to those who trash waste carelessly without thinking about the consequences. There are many ways in which people generate income from waste and I must say that your cousin’s husband is really smart to focus on metallic waste where there is higher income.
I like the strategies used in managing waste in your home,
Success in the contest!
