Greetings steemain friends how are you all doing today I hope you are fine and enjoying your day? Today I will be taking part in a debate contest organise by @sahmie which is about Fiction Vs Non-fiction

What book is Fiction or Non-fiction? What makes them different?

Despite being a science student with very little knowledge about this particular topic, but in my own understanding a book is said to be fiction when the events recorded on it are imaginary events or that is not real.

Meanwhile Non-fiction is a literary piece whose events recorded on it are based on real life or a reflection of historical experience.

In other words fiction are known to be unreal and imaginative while Non-fiction are known to be real life events being recorded in a literary piece.

Fiction or Non-fiction: Which genre do you enjoy more and why?

Between the two genre I tend to enjoy fictious genre more than non-fictious genres in a sense that in fiction the idea are being presented to suit the imagination of the reader which is to say that the events are being presented base on the expectations of the reader

Example in a literary piece the reader would find it very interesting to read about a flying character or magic which is only possible in fiction and not genre.

Which genre challenges your imagination: fiction or non-fiction?

As mentioned earlier the only genre that challenges our imagination is none other than fiction as it reflect an idea that is beyond human expectations and imaginations.

Meanwhile Non-fiction only reflect real life situations that has already happened and it is also within human natural intelligence and idea.

Is reading fiction an escape or a learning experience for you?

I wouldn't say that reading fiction is an escape but the deal is that yes we can learn so much from reading Non-fictional piece because it reflects real life situations and happening.

But reading fiction isn't an escape though you tend to learn nothing about the present historical norms, but you can definitely learn some moral lessons and some other literary ideas.

This will be the end of my entry and I will like to invite some of my friends to join me in this amazing contest
