Lifestyle Diary Game | Experiencing New things in Village | 15th June 2024

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I am here to share an exciting diary game with you all. As I have summer vacation from university so, I am in the village a week before week. I think it's the best part of my vacation that I enjoyed while living in the village.

I wake up early in the morning in the village & after that, I have to offer prayer, and recite the Holy Quran & then if my mother agrees we visit our farms. It's the first time I have seen the green chilis plants because my brother cultivated them here in our new fields. I was excited to pick green chilis, I don't have any experience with how to pick them but I will try to pick them without harming the plant.

Me & my mother decided to go on walk & also pick green chilis. I was excited about it. We reached there & there were more than 30 plants of green chilis ( I guess & I don't count honestly), My mother sat on the chair as she had disc herniation of the lumbar region. Then I started to check the plants & picked cute little green chilis they aren't like market chilis but mom said they are good in taste as they already used them while making food.

I started picking them & in my excitement, I didn't notice that I was picking them in the wrong posture after 10 plants my back started hurting, and even though it was hurting still wanted to pick from all the plants so, I decided to change the posture, I sit on the ground in front of plants & start picking them.

I picked a half basket as per my mother & brother's information most of the neighbours living there stole our green chilis in the afternoon timing when my brother went home for rest. But I was happy that pick that much even though there were red chilis too, when green chilis are not picked for a week or more they change their colour & become red chilis. The red chilis were so fresh red so I asked my mother if I could pick red chilis for her, after drying red chilis & ground can used in different spicy foods.

After that, we came home, and we spent an hour there. I asked my mother if make pickles of these green chilis because in pickles I loved to eat green chilis, carrots & chickpeas. It's the first time I am going to make a pickle of green chilli, before that I helped my mother with mango pickling but not did do all the things alone. I washed them & after them then for an hour, I started cutting them & added salt & turmeric mixture to each chilli.

I did all this in an hour then I kept them for 2 to 3 hours till they left some water & then I added them to the pickle Jar. We have a Jar of national pickles in which some pickle is left so, I decided to add the green chilis to them. After lunch I check & add all green chilis in the Jar & then keep it for 1 or 2 days then I will check it again & again to prevent it from becoming black or fungus.

I didn't help much with house chores as my mother said we were guests here for a few days due to studies so, my elder sister did all the house chores. I can't post much on steemit due to my mobile issue but still I try to share at least weekly reports & contests in my community.
