Introduction

Welcome to my blog. I am glad to take part in this engagement challenge and Business Review has help me get to know more about so many business in my area and it's getting interesting to interview business owners about thier businesses, how they started and how the business is moving. I have learnt about the challenges most business have and the measures taken by some business men and women to be able to continue in thier business.

Madam Ugochukwu is an hardworking traders who lives here in Akwa Ibom State. She is from the Eastern part of Nigeria. He is a married woman with two lovely kids. She has been into different business right from when she left high school. She has tried different forms of business and if it doesn't work out well she will drop and try another. She continues to search for a productive business until she finds this one.
She started this business selling few babies things and she get more money, she added other things like plastics chairs and kitchen utensils. Her business is a very big one now and she has hired a sells girls to assist her in the shop.

There are so many items sold in Madam Ugochukwu Stores. Some of the items are:

• Gas cylinders
• Plastic chairs
• Buckets
• Gallons
• Disposable plates
• Cane
  And lots more......

Now let's see the prices of some of the products.

Products 1 (bouquet of flowers)

This beautiful flower is sold at Madam Ugochukwu Stores. When I asked of the price I was to it's #2500 (Two thousand five hundred naira) that is about 12.5 steem at the current price of steem today when converted to naira.

Products 2 (Pots)

As for the pot, she sold different brands of pot and the prices vary based on the brand. She has the pot called tower and and the one here in the picture is called Trim . The price of this pot is #5000 (five thousand naira) that is approximately 25 steem at the current price of steem today when converted to naira.

Products 3 (Gas cylinder)

Above pictures are gas cylinders. A cylinder is #12000 (twelve thousand naira) that is about 60 steem at the current price of steem today when converted to naira.

Products 4 (Enema pump)

This is Enema pump and it's price is #500 (Five hundred naira) that is approximately 2.5 steem at the current price of steem today when converted to naira.

Products 5 (Padlocks)

This particular padlock I am holding in the picture is #1500 (One thousand five hundred naira) that is about 7.5 steem at the current price of steem today when converted to naira.

Why I like about buying from Madam Ugochukwu

She sold her things at affordable prices and she also treat her customers well. She doesn't get angry with her customers or embarrass them If they bargain prices of things too much. I really like the fact that she always appreciate her customers when they buy from her. Her things goods are sold at affordable prices.
She also sell in varieties.

Challenges

Every business must have one or two challenges. So do Madam Ugochukwu, she is facing many challenges in her business. Let have a look at fee of them.

• High cost shop rent: Due to the fact that she has alot of goods , the landlord of that shop has increased the price of shop which makes it challenging to her because it will affect her gain in the business.

• Competitors: There are about three people selling the same items as madam Ugochukwu is selling just in the same location. As a result of competitors, sh what to reduce the prices of her good which makes her profit less.
