Greetings! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their life with family and friends by the Grace of Allah Almighty. Today I am here to participate in SEC-S15W5 contest held in Steem Entrepreneurs. The topic of the contest is "WHICH ONE IS BETTER?". We have to choose one from each of the three options and talk about them. So let's start!
Employee or Entrepreneur |

Choosing between being an employee or entrepreneur is one self's personal goals, strength and preferences. As an employee, we work for someone else's business and in return we receive salary and benefits. This option gives you fixed income every month and let you focus on specific tasks without worrying about whole business.
On the other hand, being an entrepreneur means starting or running your own business. This option opens path for unlimited income, flexibility in working hours, and freedom to pursue your passion. As an entrepreneur, you have full control over business decisions and how to shape it in right direction.
For me, I will choose entreprenuer and the reason is I want freedom instead of listening to boss. Since I started earning, I did job only for 8 months and 5 years are without working in a company. Believe me it is very peaceful to work at your own things instead of working for someone. Below I have listed some benefits and challenges.
Benefits of Being an Employee
- Stable income and benefits.
- Less financial risks.
- Opportunities for career advancement and experiences development.
Challenges of Being an Employee
- Limited control over work and career direction.
- Less flexibility in working hours.
- Depends on boss decisions.
Benefits of Being an Entrepreneur
- Unlimited income potential.
- Flexibility in working hours.
- Control over business decisions.
Challenges of Being an Employee
- Financial instability and risks.
- Long working hours in start.
- Higher responsibilities.
Saving or Investing |

It also depends on one self's personal financial goals, timeline, and risk tolerance. Saving involves putting money aside in a secure account such as saving account. This option give you financial stability and liquidity means you can access your funds in the future whenever you need it in emergency. Saving can benefit you for short-term because in long-run, inflation affect it.
On the other hand, investing involves putting your money into assets such as stocks, bonds, shares, real estate or any other business with aim of earning a profit. Investing offers a higher return over long term and is not suitable for short period. However, investing also comes with risks like losing your money, fluctuation in investments etc.
I will go with both because currently I am saving as well as investing. Each month, if I earn good income, I put some amount in my bank account and use only that is required to cover expenses. Also I am using that saving to invest on Steemit by buying some Steem whenever I get good price range. Below are short and long term advantages of both.
Short-term Advantages of Saving
- Security and stability of funds.
- Easy access to money in emergency.
- Protection against market fluctuations.
Long-term Advantages of Saving
- Building emergency funds for unexpected expenses.
- Down-payment for house or for a vacation.
- Peace of mind.

Long-term Advantages of Investing
- Building wealth over time.
- Saving for retirement or long-term financial goals.
- Protection against inflation.
Steemit or Hive |

Choosing between Steemit and Hive depends on our priorities and values within the blockchain-based social media platforms. For me Steemit is best because of it's larger user base and familiarity. It's uniqueness is people here are cooperative and supportive which users on hive are not. However, Steemit in the past has faced criticisims regarding centralization and change in the reward system. But still it is better in my view than Hive.
If I talk about Hive, it is also a decentralized social media platform like Steemit that reward users for creating content. Moreover, I have listened and also checked it is little hard to survive on Hive than Steemit. That is also the main reasons why I love Steemit.
The earning potential is high on both platforms but due to hive strict rules, some users face issue in earning. Building community is easy here on Steemit because of strict rules on Hive. And if I talk about sustanibility and growth then both platforms have large number of users and on regular basis both are getting new users so growth is must in the future.

Assalamu Alaikum dear brother you have given a good explanation of the given topic and elaborated to you all her really like your point of view about the employees versus entrepreneurs of course both have challenges but if we say in long term entrepreneur are the best as there is no time limit and they can earn very well as compare to employees which has only a fix salary and has to time and he is not a free man like a business person.
Moreover investment and saving both are going on in life definitely we have to take challenges for the investment plan and the risk are always there part of our life and the steemit is a best decentralise platform for walking as there is no time limit and we can publish our content when I want I wish you success.
Well written, you have chosen entrepreneur but you defined differences of both employment & entrepreneur which is very nice . You described that what benefits and challenges will come in both path which is quite commendable. Your difference between savings and investment is also very impressive and actually it is reality. I can understand your thoughts and thinking to become a businessman and to become a entrepreneur because you don't want to listen order of boss or order of others. I can understand that you want freedom in your work and Independency in your life and you don't want to be under of anybody and you also believe that when you would become a successful businessman then you would earn a lot and you would be able to enhance your lifestyle I wish you success in this engagement challenge.

En mi opinión lo que más me gusta es arriesgar cuando tenemos un buen ahorro. Por ejemplo, si un negocio necesita $ 50 mil para comenzar, entonces debe tener al menos el doble o el triple de esa cantidad ahorrada. Porque no hay nadie que pueda garantizarte el éxito de tu negocio. Por eso es mejor tener buenos ahorros para iniciar su propio negocio. Gracias por tu comentario :)

Being an entrepreneur offers more freedom and satisfaction compared to working as an employee. Yes, both savings and investing has their advantages and disadvantages but it is necessary to have a preference as a business owner.
