What is your preference while making decisions, heart or mind?

While taking decisions, both our heart and mind show their presence, but now the difference here is that when I take a decision in a business situation, then instead of listening to emotions and heart, I take the decision only keeping in mind the importance of the matter. Because such decisions cannot be beneficial for everyone, and some may benefit and some may also suffer loss.

But if the decision is regarding any of my family matters or any woman or child, then I have to keep in mind the voice coming from my heart, and take the decision keeping that voice in mind.

Therefore, it is impossible to always choose the same priority in my decisions.

Do you think we need both in terms of making decisions? Describe reasons.

I don't think so. It is my firm belief that we should listen to both the heart and mind while taking decisions, because if a person only listens to his mind then there will be absolutely no emotions in that decision. And such decisions can only be taken by a dictator and a hard-hearted person.

Such decisions are called capricious decisions in the society. I have myself seen many times that when I take decisions at my workplace only with my mind and not with my heart, those decisions do not turn out to be beneficial for everyone, and some people also get harmed because of it.

For example, some people in our hospital were supplying electricity to their homes by connecting wires from government electricity connections, and I had disconnected the connections of all such people and ordered them to get the connections in their own names. Initially many people had opposed this decision of mine, but later after making them understand by citing the rules, everything became normal.

Are you an emotional or a practical person in real life?

Yes, I can definitely consider myself both practical and emotional, in fact no person can be practical who is not emotional. We have to maintain many relationships in our life, and from childhood we are taught to respect our elders, respect our teachers, be submissive to our parents and relatives, fear God, worship God, and so on.

All the rituals gradually settle in our hearts and take our emotional form. That is why if a social person, who is brought up in values, is practical while maintaining emotional relationships.

Do you have any suggestions for youth which one they should follow in their day-to-day lives?

I always have only one suggestion to the youth that no matter how much he studies and becomes a rich man, he should keep his inner humanity alive, he should not hesitate in helping the poor, the helpless and the needy. He should not weigh his emotional personality on the scale of money.

He should always take his decisions after thinking with his heart and mind. He should always follow the right policies taught by his elders and parents.

And in the end I would like to say that if a person does not get separated from his people but lives his life taking everyone along and satisfying everyone's wishes by understanding them, then he will experience a special satisfaction and happiness in his life.
