Let me show you the Royal Opera of Muscat
Operas through out the world are so finely designed and they are the symbol of the grandeur of that place. When I visited the Opera in Venice I fell in love with it's charm. For the Muscat's opera house also I have similar feelings. It's a place for Music, Arts and Culture but it looks much more. It reflects the grace and elegance of Oman. It is one of the best Opera's in the world and very highly technically advanced. From the outside it looks nothing less then a Palace. The Courtyard area is as grand as the Opera house. There are many national events that take place in the Courtyard as it can accommodate more number of people. The Opera house is equipped to seat 1100 people and technically it can also transform into a smaller seating place of 850 people. The architecture and the detailing of the interiors is truly magnificent. There is an entry fee to the place, which is very nominal.
Let me take you through the Opera House.

As we walk into the Opera's lobby area. It is so majestic and grand.
The finely carved ceilings and walls all reflect the Middle East designs
The way to go up to the Theatre. It surely makes you feel very Royal

The glimpse of the Opera from the Inside. When we visited there were some preparations going on for an evening show. The stage was getting set up.
The first level seating is reserved for the Royal families.
There are private box seatings also.
When you come out of the Theatre there are some attractive pieces of furniture at display
I am totally in love with this particular Table. I love the art work on it and it's finishing is so grand.

When I saw the first pictures I never thought they would be surpassed by its interior majesty. What an incredible place!
