Steem engagement challenge-S12/W2|I would love to prefer A Metropolis lifestyle

I am delighted to partake in another week of steem engagement challenge season 12 week 2 hosting in this community, Life in the cities is one of the best moments in someone's life, people in urban center always enjoy themself, catch fun and visiting those historical center to appreciate the blessing of God.

Many people prefer metropolis lifestyle than village due to a lot of benefits that attach to it.

Which lifestyle do you prefer, A Metropolis or A Village? And Why?

I prefer metropolis lifestyle than village lifestyle because of convenience and those beautiful places such as cinema house, fast food restaurant, recreational center etc. Where you can hangout with your friends and loved ones. I was born in the capital city, most of my friends reside in the city where they engaged themself in one business or the others.

I have already adapt urban lifestyle, people migrate to urban center due to economic reason and others business opportunities. Adequate security is guarantee in the cities because most of our security personnel with advance equipments are usually based in the cities to protect life and property. Unlike rural area where few policemen are available with outdated equipment. In Nigeria, crisis normally occurs in our village due to poor communication to alert security agency from the cities.

In addition, metropolis have beautiful infrastructure than rural area with good drainage system where dirty water can pass. Nice houses that are well furnish are built in different place in order to satisfy the urban dwellers. There is no beautiful housing in villages because most of their housing do not have toilet facilities and bathroom. Even some of the villagers bath outside especially in the night.

Something that have good sides must definitely have the other sides too. But urban dwellers enjoys more benefits than the challenges people facing in their daily activities.

• People in the cities receive adequate health care facilities with advance technology, qualified doctors and nurses who specialized in different area to treat many types of disease experience by the people. People in the villages visit hospital in urban center due to unavailability of hospital in their areas.

• Another advantage is good road network that ease the movement of people and goods. This road network connect different part in the urban area.

• Increase in population create business enabling environment for investors or businessmen in order to contribute to the economic growth of our country.

• Also, standard schools can be found in urban center than village, parent who living in urban area can go to any length to make sure their child receive quality education. Schools in urban center have conducive environment, library, counselling unit and skilled staff than schools in village.

• Coming together of people with different cultures promote unity and eradicate any kinds of discrimination among urban dwellers. Urban center allows every tribes to show case their talents or skill for the national development.

Challenges people face in metropolis contribute to societal ill and not everybody in the cities enjoy the beautiful atmosphere, some of them find it difficult to survive. High cost of living affects people who migrate to the cities, some of them hardly survive and people who have little do not want to help.

In Lagos (Nigeria), 8 people can rent and live in a single apartment imagine the kind of stress they will go through.

Scarcity of water is another biggest challenges in the cities, government failed to provide affordable clean water to urban dwellers, most of this water were polluted due to lack of preventive measure by water board.

Moreover, Many youths who graduated from higher institution do not get available job opportunity, the more unemployment rates increase in the cities, the more people engage in illicit act such as theft and murder which contribute to social unrest.

Environment in the cities influence our lifestyle in one way or the others, people who migrate to the cities learn new things they have not learn before, I adapt to positive lifestyle because is the best thing for me to live happily with my friends and family.

Metropolis changes our lifestyle in terms of clothes we wear, how to associate with others in the society determine how view them either positive or negatively. People migrate from village to the cities become civilized due to what they see with advanced technology they were put in place. So they will like to adapt the lifestyle in urban area than going back to their previous environment.

Conclusion

Communication network contribute to the fasting growing of urban center because service always available than village, village always experience bad network, in fact some of them need to go to a long distance to search for network. So I prefer metropolis lifestyle than village. I will like to invite @writer123, @ridwant, @solaymann and @goodybest to participate.
